I heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: The truest word which the poet stated is the word of Labid: "Behold! apart from Allah everything is vain."
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِنَّ أَصْدَقَ كَلِمَةٍ قَالَهَا شَاعِرٌ كَلِمَةُ لَبِيدٍ أَلاَ كُلُّ شَىْءٍ مَا خَلاَ اللَّهَ بَاطِلٌ مَا زَادَ عَلَى ذَلِكَ
The Prophet ﷺ said, "The most true words said by a poet were the words of Labid. He said, i.e. 'Verily, everything except Allah is perishable and Umaiya bin Abi As-Salt was about to embrace Islam .
قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَصْدَقُ كَلِمَةٍ قَالَهَا الشَّاعِرُ كَلِمَةُ لَبِيدٍ أَلاَ كُلُّ شَىْءٍ مَا خَلاَ اللَّهَ بَاطِلُ وَكَادَ أُمَيَّةُ بْنُ أَبِي الصَّلْتِ أَنْ يُسْلِمَ
The Prophet ﷺ said, "The most true words said by a poet was the words of Labid." He said, Verily, Everything except Allah is perishable and Umaiya bin As-Salt was about to be a Muslim (but he did not embrace Islam).

The Prophet ﷺ said, "The truest poetic verse ever said by a poet, is: Indeed! Everything except Allah, is perishable."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I perceive a profound saying that the Arabs have uttered, the saying of Labid [Al-Bahr Al-Taweel]: 'Verily, everything that is other than Allah is futile.'"
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَشْعَرُ كَلِمَةٍ قَالَتْهَا الْعَرَبُ كَلِمَةُ لَبِيدٍ[البحر الطويل]أَلَا كُلُّ شَيْءٍ مَا خَلَا اللهَ بَاطِلُ
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say on the pulpit: "I recall a phrase that the Arabs used to say, a phrase of Labid ibn Rabiah [Al-Bahr Al-Tawil]: 'Verily, everything that is void of Allah is futile.'"
