Did Allah's Apostle ﷺ forbid the preparation of Nabidh in a green pitcher (besmeared with pitch and) in varnished jar? He said: Yes.  

مسلم:١٩٩٧g – وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَجُلاً جَاءَهُ فَقَالَ

أَنَهَى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَنْ يُنْبَذَ فِي الْجَرِّ وَالدُّبَّاءِ قَالَ نَعَمْ

I was sitting with Ibn 'Umar when a man came to him, and said: Did Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbid the preparation of Nabidh in a green pitcher (besmeared with pitch), in varnished jar and in gourd? Thereupon he said: Yes.  

مسلم:١٩٩٧i – حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ طَاوُسًا يَقُولُ كُنْتُ جَالِسًا عِنْدَ ابْنِ عُمَرَ فَجَاءَهُ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ

أَنَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنْ نَبِيذِ الْجَرِّ وَالدُّبَّاءِ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ قَالَ نَعَمْ

I was sitting with Ibn 'Umar when a man came to him, and said: Did Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbid the preparation of Nabidh in a green pitcher (besmeared with pitch), in varnished jar and in gourd? Thereupon he said: Yes. (Using translation from Muslim 1997i)   

أحمد:٦٤٤١ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ حَنْظَلَةَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ طَاوُسًا يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ وَسَأَلَهُ رَجُلٌ؟ فَقَالَ

أَنَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْجَرِّ والدُّبَّاءِ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ  

ahmad:4913 – ʿAbd al-Razzāq And Ibn Bakr > Ibn Jurayj Akhbaranīāb. Ṭāwus from his father > Ibn ʿUmar > a man Saʾalah

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade making Nabidh in (earthenware) jars.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3408)   

أحمد:٤٩١٣ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ وَابْنُ بَكْرٍ قَالَا أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِيابْنُ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَهُ فَقَالَ

أَنَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ يُنْبَذَ فِي الْجَرِّ وَالدُّبَّاءِ قَالَ نَعَمْ  

tabarani:13454 – Isḥāq b. Ibrāhīm > ʿAbd al-Razzāq > Ibn Jurayj > Ibn Ṭāwus from his father > Ibn ʿUmar > a man Jāʾah

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited throwing oneself into the fire and the bear. He said, "Yes."
