Did Allah's Apostle ﷺ forbid the preparation of Nabidh in a green pitcher (besmeared with pitch and) in varnished jar? He said: Yes.

أَنَهَى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَنْ يُنْبَذَ فِي الْجَرِّ وَالدُّبَّاءِ قَالَ نَعَمْ

I was sitting with Ibn 'Umar when a man came to him, and said: Did Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbid the preparation of Nabidh in a green pitcher (besmeared with pitch), in varnished jar and in gourd? Thereupon he said: Yes.

أَنَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْجَرِّ والدُّبَّاءِ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade making Nabidh in (earthenware) jars.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3408)

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited throwing oneself into the fire and the bear. He said, "Yes."
