[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "The best of your leaders are those whom you love and they love you, and you pray for them and they pray for you. And the worst of your leaders are those whom you hate and they hate you, and you curse them and they curse you." We said, "O Messenger of Allah, should we not fight against them at that time?" He said, "No, as long as they establish prayer for you. Indeed, if someone is appointed as a ruler over you and he sees any disobedience to Allah, he should reject that disobedience and not withdraw his hand from obedience."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ خِيَارُ أَئِمَّتِكُمْ مَنْ تُحِبُّونَهُمْ وَيُحِبُّونَكُمْ وَتُصَلُّونَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَيُصَلُّونَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَشِرَارُ أَئِمَّتِكُمُ الَّذِينَ تُبْغِضُونَهُمْ وَيُبْغِضُونَكُمْ وَتَلْعَنُونَهُمْ وَيَلْعَنُونَكُمْ قُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَفَلَا نُنَابِذُهُمْ عِنْدَ ذَلِكَ؟ قَالَ لَا مَا أَقَامُوا لَكُمُ الصَّلَاةَ أَلَا وَمَنْ وُلِّيَ عَلَيْهِ أَمِيرٌ وَالٍ فَرَآهُ يَأْتِي شَيْئًا مِنْ مَعْصِيَةِ اللهِ فَلْيُنْكِرْ مَا يَأْتِي مِنْ مَعْصِيَةِ اللهِ وَلَا يَنْزِعَنَّ يَدًا مِنْ طَاعَةٍ

The best of your rulers are those whom you love and who love you, who invoke God's blessings upon you and you invoke His blessings upon them. And the worst of your rulers are those whom you hate and who hate you and whom you curse and who curse you. It was asked (by those present): Shouldn't we overthrow them with the help of the sword? He said: No, as long as they establish prayer among you. If you then find anything detestable in them. You should hate their administration, but do not withdraw yourselves from their obedience. قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «خِيَارُكُمْ وَخِيَارُ أَئِمَّتِكُمُ الَّذِينَ تُحِبُّونَهُمْ وَيُحِبُّونَكُمْ وَيُصَلُّونَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَتُصَلُّونَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَشِرَارُكُمْ وَشِرَارُ أَئِمَّتِكُمُ الَّذِينَ تُبْغِضُونَهُمْ وَيُبْغِضُونَكُمْ وَتَلْعَنُونَهُمْ وَيَلْعَنُونَكُمْ» قِيلَ أَفَلَا نُنَابِذُهُمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ؟ قَالَ «لَا مَا أَقَامُوا الصَّلَوَاتِ الْخَمْسَ أَلَا وَمَنْ لَهُ وَالٍ فَيَرَاهُ يَأْتِي شَيْئًا مِنْ مَعْصِيَةِ اللَّهِ فَلْيَكْرَهْ مَا يَأْتِي مِنْ مَعْصِيَةِ اللَّهِ وَلَا يَنْزِعْ يَدًا مِنْ طَاعَتِهِ»

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The best of you and the best of your leaders are those whom you love and who love you, and you pray for them and they pray for you. And the worst of you and the worst of your leaders are those whom you hate and who hate you, and you curse them and they curse you." They said, "Should we not overthrow them, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "No, as long as they establish the five daily prayers. Whoever sees something objectionable from them and dislikes it, let him hate what he sees from disobedience to Allah. Behold, do not remove your hand from obedience."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «خِيَارُكُمْ وَخِيَارُ أَئِمَّتِكُمُ الَّذِينَ تُحِبُّونَهُمْ وَيُحِبُّونَكُمْ وَتُصَلُّونَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَيُصَلُّونَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَشِرَارُكُمْ وَشِرَارُ أَئِمَّتِكُمُ الَّذِينَ تُبْغِضُونَهُمْ وَيُبْغِضُونَكُمْ وَتَلْعَنُونَهُمْ وَيَلْعَنُونَكُمْ» قَالُوا أَفَلَا نُنَابِذُهُمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ «لَا مَا أَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ الْخَمْسَ إِلَّا مَنْ وَلِيَهُ وَالٍ فَرَآهُ يَأْتِي شَيْئًا مِنْ مَعْصِيَةِ اللهِ فَلْيَكْرَهْ مَا أَتَى مِنْ مَعْصِيَةِ اللهِ أَلَا وَلَا تَنْزِعُوا يَدًا مِنْ طَاعَةٍ»

[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , he said, "The best among your leaders are those whom you love and they love you, and for whom you supplicate to Allah, and they supplicate for you. And the worst among your leaders are those whom you hate and they hate you, and for whom you curse and they curse you." It was said, "O Messenger of Allah, should we not confront them?" He said, "No, as long as they establish prayer among you. So, if you see from your leader something that you dislike, then dislike his actions but do not withdraw your hand from obedience."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «خِيَارُ أَئِمَّتِكُمُ الَّذِينَ تُحِبُّونَهُمْ وَيُحِبُّونَكُمْ وَتَدَعُونَ اللهَ لَهُمْ وَيَدْعُونَ اللهَ لَكُمْ وَشِرَارُ أَئِمَّتِكُمُ الَّذِينَ تُبْغِضُونَهُمْ وَيُبْغِضُونَكُمْ وَتَلْعَنُونَهُمْ وَيَلْعَنُونَكُمْ» قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَفَلَا نُنَابِذُهُمْ؟ قَالَ «لَا مَا أَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ فِيكُمْ فَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمْ مِنْ وَالِيكُمْ شَيْئًا تَكْرَهُونَهُ فَاكْرَهُوا عَمَلَهُ وَلَا تَنْزِعُوا يَدًا مِنْ طَاعَةٍ»

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The best of your leaders are those whom you love and they love you, and whom you pray for and they pray for you. And the worst of your leaders are those whom you hate and they hate you, and whom you curse and they curse you." We said, "O Messenger of Allah, should we not confront them at that time?" He said, "No, as long as they establish prayer among you, and whoever becomes the leader over you sees from them anything of disobedience towards Allah, then he should detest their disobedience and not withdraw his hand from obedience."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «خِيَارُ أَئِمَّتِكُمُ الَّذِينَ تُحِبُّونَهُمْ وَيُحِبُّونَكُمْ وَتُصَلُّونَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَيُصَلُّونَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَشِرَارُ أَئِمَّتِكُمُ الَّذِينَ تُبْغِضُونَهُمْ وَيُبْغِضُونَكُمْ وَتَلْعَنُونَهُمْ وَيَلْعَنُونَكُمْ» قُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَفَلَا نُنَابِذُهُمْ عِنْدَ ذَلِكَ؟ قَالَ «لَا مَا أَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ فِيكُمْ وَمَنْ وَلِيَ عَلَيْهِ وَالٍ فَرَأَى مِنْهُ شَيْئًا مِنْ مَعْصِيَةِ اللهِ فَلْيَكْرَهْ مَا يَأْتِي مِنْ مَعْصِيَةِ اللهِ وَلَا يَنْزِعْ يَدًا مِنْ طَاعَةٍ»

"خِيارُ أئَمتكُمُ الذينَ تُحِبُّونَهُمْ وبُحِبونَكُم، وتُصَلُّونَ عليهِمْ ويُصَلُّونَ عَلَيْكُمْ، وشِرارُ أَئمتكُمُ الذين تُبغِضُونهُم ويبغِضُونَكُم وتَلعَنُونهُم ويَلْعَنونكُم - قيل: يا رسولَ اللَّهِ، أفلا نُنَابذُهُم عند ذلك؟ قال: لا، ما أقاموا فيكم الصلاة، لا، ما أقاموا فيكم الصلاة، ألا من وُلِّى عليه والٍ فرآهُ يأتى شيئًا من مَعْصيةِ اللَّه فليُنْكرْ ما يأتى من مَعْصيةِ اللَّهِ، ولا يَنزِعنَّ يدًا من طاعةٍ".

"خِيارُ أَئِمَتكم الذين تُحِبونَهُم ويُحبُّونَكُم، ويُصَلُّونَ عَلَيْكُمْ وتُصَلُّون عَلَيْهِمْ، وشرِار أئِمَتَكُمْ الذين تبغِضُونَهُمْ وببْغِضُونَكُمْ، وتلعَنُونَهُمُ ويلعنَوُنكُم - قيل: يا رسول اللَّهِ أفلا نُنَابِذُهُمْ بالسيف، قال. لا، ما أقاموا فيكم الصلاة، وإذا رأيتم من ولاتكِم شيئًا تكرهونه فاكرهوا عمله، ولا تَنْزِعوا يدًا من طاعة".
