Messenger of Allah, she has entered the state of menses, whereupon he said: (Well) she is going to detain us. They (his wives) said: Messenger of Allah, she performed Tawaf Ziyara (Tawaf Ifada) on the Day of Nahr. Thereupon he said: Then she should proceed along with you

I said to him, "O Messenger of Allah ﷺ! She is having her menses." He said, "Is she going to detain us?" We informed him that she had performed Tawaf-al-Ifada on the Day of Nahr. He said, "(Then you can) depart."

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ mentioned about Safiyyah, daughter of Huyayy. He was told that she had menstruated. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: She may probably detain us. They (the people) said: She has performed the obligatory circumambulation (Tawaf al-Ziyarah). He said: If so, there is no need (of staying any longer).

أبو داود:٢٠٠٣ – حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

قالت ذكر رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ صَفِيَّةَ فقلنا قد حاضت فقال عقرى أو حلقى ما أراها إلا حابستنا فقلنا إنها قد طافت يوم النحر قال فلا إذا مروها فلتنفر
