ذِكْرُ الْخَبَرِ الْمُدْحِضِ قَوْلَ مَنْ زَعَمَ أَنَّ ابْنَ الْبِنْتِ لَا يَكُونُ وَلَدًا لِأَبِي الْبِنْتِ

[Machine] "While the Prophet ﷺ was giving a sermon, Hassan and Hussein approached him wearing two red shirts. They were standing and stumbling. The Prophet ﷺ then descended towards them, took them in his arms, and said, 'Verily, your wealth and your children are a trial.'"  

ابن حبّان:٦٠٣٨ – أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْقَطَّانُ بِالرَّافِقَةِ حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلُ بْنُ إِهَابٍ حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بُرَيْدَةَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ

«بَيْنَمَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَخْطُبُ إِذْ أَقْبَلَ الْحَسَنُ وَالْحُسَيْنُ وَعَلَيْهِمَا قَمِيصَانِ أَحْمَرَانِ يَقُومَانِ وَيَعْثُرَانِ فَنَزَلَ إِلَيْهِمَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَأَخَذَهُمَا وَقَالَ » {إِنَّمَا أَمْوَالُكُمْ وَأَوْلَادُكُمْ فِتْنَةٌ} «

His father said: "While the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was on the minbar, Al-Hasan and Al-Husain came,wearing red shirts, walking and stumbling. He came down and picked them up, then said: 'Allah has spoken the truth: Your wealth and your children are only a trial.' I saw these two walking and stumbling in their shirts, and I could not be patient until I went down and picked them up.'"  

النسائي:١٥٨٥ – أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو تُمَيْلَةَ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ وَاقِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

He then said: Allah truly said: "Your property and your children are only trial" (Ixiv.15). I saw both of them, and I could not wait. Afterwards he resumed the speech.

البيهقي:١١٩٢٤ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُكْرَمٍ ثنا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ثنا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ كَانَ
