ذِكْرُ الزَّجْرِ عَنْ قَتْلِ الْمَرْءِ مَنْ أَمِنَهُ عَلَى دَمِهِ

ibnhibban:5982 – ʿImrān b. Mūsá b. Mujāshiʿ > ʿUthmān b. Abū Shaybah > Abū Usāmah > Zāʾidah > Ismāʿīl al-Suddī > Rifāʿah al-Fityānī > ʿAmr b. al-Ḥamiq

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Whoever guarantees the safety of a man's life, then kills him, I am innocent of his blood, even if the murdered person was a disbeliever."  

ابن حبّان:٥٩٨٢ – أَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى بْنِ مُجَاشِعٍ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ زَائِدَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي إِسْمَاعِيلُ السُّدِّيُّ عَنْ رِفَاعَةَ الْفِتْيَانِيِّ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَمِقِ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «أَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ أَمِنَ رَجُلًا عَلَى دَمِهِ ثُمَّ قَتَلَهُ فَأَنَا مِنَ الْقَاتِلِ بَرِيءٌ وَإِنْ كَانَ الْمَقْتُولُ كَافِرًا»
