ذِكْرُ دُعَاءِ الْمُصْطَفَى ﷺ لِمَنْ رَفَقَ بِالْمُسْلِمِينَ فِي أُمُورِهِمْ، مَعَ دُعَائِهِ عَلَى مَنِ اسْتَعْمَلَ ضِدَّهُ فِيهِمْ

ibnhibban:553 – Muḥammad b. al-Ḥasan b. Qutaybah > Ḥarmalah b. Yaḥyá > Ibn Wahb > Ḥarmalah b. ʿImrān > ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. Shimāsah > Atayt ʿĀʾishah Asʾaluhā > Shayʾ

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying in my house, "O Allah, whoever takes charge of any matter of my nation and makes it difficult for them, make it difficult for him, and whoever takes charge of any matter of my nation and shows kindness to them, show kindness to him."  

ابن حبّان:٥٥٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ قُتَيْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ شِمَاسَةَ قَالَ أَتَيْتُ عَائِشَةَ أَسْأَلُهَا عَنْ شَيْءٍ فَقَالَتْ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ فِي بَيْتِي هَذَا «اللَّهُمَّ مَنْ وَلِيَ مِنْ أَمْرِ أُمَّتِي شَيْئًا فَشَقَّ عَلَيْهِمْ فَاشْقُقْ عَلَيْهِ وَمَنْ وَلِيَ مِنْ أَمَرِ أُمَّتِي شَيْئًا فَرَفَقَ بِهِمْ فَارْفُقْ بِهِ»

And whoever is entrusted with any matter concerning my Ummah and he shows leniency and kindness towards them, then be lenient and kind towards him.'"

أَتَيْتُ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَسْأَلُهَا عَنْ شَيْءٍ فَقَالَتْ أُخْبِرُكَ بِمَا سَمِعْتُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ فِي بَيْتِي هَذَا اللهُمَّ مَنْ وَلِيَ مِنْ أَمْرِ أُمَّتِي شَيْئًا فَشَقَّ عَلَيْهِمْ فَاشْقُقْ عَلَيْهِ وَمَنْ وَلِيَ مِنْ أَمْرِ أُمَّتِي شَيْئًا فَرَفَقَ بِهِمْ فَارْفُقْ بِهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ اللهُمَّ مَنْ وَلِيَ مِنْ أُمَّتِي شَيْئًا فَرَفَقَ بِهِمْ فَارْفُقْ بِهِ وَمَنْ شَقَّ عَلَيْهِمْ فَشُقَّ عَلَيْهِ  

ahmad:26212 – And Hb b. Jarīr from my father > Ḥarmalah al-Miṣrī > ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. Shimāsah al-Mahrī

[Machine] "Who are you?" I said, "I am a man from the people of Egypt." He then mentioned a story and said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , saying: 'O Allah, whoever has been given authority over my Ummah, be compassionate towards them, and whoever is harsh with them, be harsh with him.'

البيهقي:٢٠٤٦٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ حَسَنِ بْنِ مُهَاجِرٍ ثنا هَارُونُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأَيْلِيُّ ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ حَدَّثَنِي حَرْمَلَةُ الْمِصْرِيُّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ شَمَاسَةَ قَالَ أَتَيْتُ عَائِشَةَ ؓ أَسْأَلُهَا عَنْ شَيْءٍ فَقَالَتْ مِمَّنْ أَنْتَ؟ فَقُلْتُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ مِصْرَ فَقَالَتْ إِنِّي أُخْبِرُكَ مَا سَمِعْتُ
