ذِكْرُ الْإِخْبَارِ عَمَّا يَجِبُ عَلَى الْمَرْءِ مِنْ إِظْهَارِ نِعْمَةِ اللَّهِ جَلَّ وَعَلَا، وَانْتِفَاعِهِ بِهَا فِي دَارَيْهِ

ibnhibban:5417 – Sulaymān b. al-Ḥasan b. Yazīd al-ʿAṭṭār > Hudbah b. Khālid al-Qaysī > Ḥammād b. Salamah > ʿAbd al-Malik b. ʿUmayr > Abū al-Aḥwaṣ from his father

[Machine] He came to the Prophet ﷺ and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw him in the appearance of a Bedouin, dusty, and with disheveled hair. The Prophet ﷺ said, "What do you have of wealth?" He replied, "I have been given all kinds of wealth by Allah." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Indeed, when Allah bestows a favor upon a servant, He loves to see its signs in them."

ابن حبّان:٥٤١٧ – أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْعَطَّارُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْقَيْسِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّهُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَرَآهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَشْعَثَ أَغْبَرَ فِي هَيْئَةِ أَعْرَابِيٍّ فَقَالَ «مَا لَكَ مِنَ الْمَالِ؟ » قَالَ مِنْ كُلِّ الْمَالِ قَدْ آتَانِيَ اللَّهُ قَالَ «إِنَّ اللَّهَ إِذَا أَنْعَمَ عَلَى الْعَبْدِ نِعْمَةً أَحَبَّ أَنْ تُرَى بِهِ»

[Machine] "His father came to the Prophet ﷺ while he was unshaven and poorly dressed. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, 'Do you not have any wealth?' He said, 'Allah ﷻ has given me wealth of all kinds.' He ﷺ said, 'Whenever Allah ﷻ bestows a blessing upon a servant, He ﷻ loves to see its signs upon him.'"

أَنَّ أَبَاهُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَهُوَ أَشْعَثُ سَيِّئُ الْهَيْئَةِ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَمَا لَكَ مَالٌ؟ قَالَ مِنْ كُلِّ الْمَالِ قَدْ آتَانِي اللهُ ﷻ قَالَ فَإِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ إِذَا أَنْعَمَ عَلَى عَبْدٍ نِعْمَةً أَحَبَّ أَنْ تُرَى عَلَيْهِ
