ذِكْرُ الْبَيَانِ بِأَنَّ الْمُصْطَفَى ﷺ رَاجِعْ حَفْصَةَ مِنْ أَجْلِ أَبِيهَا عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ

ibnhibban:4276 – ʿAbdullāh b. Aḥmad b. Mūsá > Muḥammad b. ʿAbdullāh b. Numayr > Yūnus b. Bukayr > al-Aʿmash > Abū Ṣāliḥ > Ibn ʿUmar

[Machine] Umar entered upon Hafsah while she was crying, so he said, "What makes you cry? Perhaps the Messenger of Allah ﷺ has divorced you, as he had divorced you before and then took you back because of me. By Allah, if he divorces you again, I will not speak to you ever."  

ابن حبّان:٤٢٧٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُوسَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

دَخَلَ عُمَرُ عَلَى حَفْصَةَ وَهِيَ تَبْكِي فَقَالَ «مَا يُبْكِيكِ لَعَلَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ طَلَّقَكِ إِنَّهُ قَدْ كَانَ طَلَّقَكِ ثُمَّ رَاجَعَكِ مِنْ أَجْلِي فَأَيْمُ اللَّهِ لَئِنْ كَانَ طَلَّقَكِ لَا كَلَّمْتُكِ كَلِمَةً أَبَدًا»

"عَنِ ابنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: دَخَلَ عُمَرُ عَلَى حَفْصَةَ وَهِى تَبْكِى، فَقَال لَهَا: مَا يُبْكِيكِ؟ لَعَلَّ رَسُولَ الله ﷺ طَلَّقَكِ؟ ! إِنَّهُ قَدْ كَانَ طَلَّقَكِ مَرَّةً ثُمَّ راجَعَكِ مِنْ أَجلِى، وَالله لَئِنْ كَانَ طَلَّقكِ مَرَّةً أُخْرَى لَا أُكُلَّمكِ أَبَدًا، وَفِى لَفْظٍ: لَا كلمتُه فِيكِ".
