"What becomes unlawful through breastfeeding is that which becomes unlawful through birth."

لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الْوِلاَدَةِ

The Prophet ﷺ said: What is unlawful by reason of consanguinity is unlawful by reason of fosterage.

عَنْ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الْوِلاَدَةِ

A’ishah reported “The Apostle of Allaah ﷺ as saying One or two sucks does not make marriage unlawful”.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لاَ تُحَرِّمُ الْمَصَّةُ وَلاَ الْمَصَّتَانِ

“Indeed Allah has made unlawful through suckling whatever He made unlawful through birth.”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّ اللَّهَ حَرَّمَ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ مَا حَرَّمَ مِنَ الْوِلاَدَةِ

“No prohibition results from suckling except for what penetrates the intestines while on the breast before weaning.”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لاَ يُحَرِّمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ إِلاَّ مَا فَتَقَ الأَمْعَاءَ فِي الثَّدْىِ وَكَانَ قَبْلَ الْفِطَامِ

"What becomes unlawful (for marriage) through birth becomes unlawful through breast-feeding."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَا حَرَّمَتْهُ الْوِلاَدَةُ حَرَّمَهُ الرَّضَاعُ

"What becomes unlawful (for marriage) through breast-feeding is that which becomes unlawful through lineage."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ النَّسَبِ

"I heard 'Aishah say: The Messenger of Allah said: 'What becomes unlawful (for marriage) through breast-feeding is that which becomes unlawful through birth.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الْوِلاَدَةِ

"Suckling once or twice does not make (marriage) prohibited."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ تُحَرِّمُ الْمَصَّةُ وَالْمَصَّتَانِ

"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Suckling once or twice does not make (marriage) prohibited.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لاَ تُحَرِّمُ الْمَصَّةُ وَالْمَصَّتَانِ

that the Messenger of Allah said: 'Breast-feeding makes unlawful (for marriages) the same things that blood tie make unlawful.”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ النَّسَبِ

that the Messenger of Allah said: “Breastfeeding once or twice, or suckling once or twice, does not make (marriage) unlawful.”

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ تُحَرِّمُ الرَّضْعَةُ وَلاَ الرَّضْعَتَانِ أَوِ الْمَصَّةُ وَالْمَصَّتَانِ

that the Prophet Allah said: “Suckling once or twice does not make (marriage) unlawful.”

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ تُحَرِّمُ الْمَصَّةُ وَالْمَصَّتَانِ

that the Messenger of Allah said: “There is no breastfeeding except that which fills the stomach.”

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ رَضَاعَ إِلاَّ مَا فَتَقَ الأَمْعَاءَ

"What becomes unlawful through breastfeeding is that which becomes unlawful through birth." (Using translation from Muslim 1444b)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الْوِلَادَةِ»

that the Prophet Allah said: “Suckling once or twice does not make (marriage) unlawful.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1941)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تُحَرِّمُ الْمَصَّةُ وَالْمَصَّتَانِ»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said that the suckling of one or two times does not make breastfeeding forbidden.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لَا يُحَرِّمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ الْمَصَّةُ وَالْمَصَّتَانِ

that the Prophet Allah said: “Suckling once or twice does not make (marriage) unlawful.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1941)

أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا تُحَرِّمُ الْمَصَّةُ وَالْمَصَّتَانِ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ حَرِّمُوا مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ مَا تُحَرِّمُونَ مِنَ الْوِلَادَةِ

that the Prophet Allah said: “Suckling once or twice does not make (marriage) unlawful.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1941)

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لَا تُحَرِّمُ الْمَصَّةُ وَلَا الْمَصَّتَانِ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Abdullah ibn Dinar from Sulayman ibn Yasar and from Urwa ibn az-Zubayr from A'isha umm al- muminin, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, " What is haram by birth is haram by suckling."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الْوِلاَدَةِ

that the Messenger of Allah said: 'Breast-feeding makes unlawful (for marriages) the same things that blood tie make unlawful.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1937)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «يُحَرِّمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعِ مَا يُحَرِّمُ مِنَ الْوِلَادَةِ»

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تُحَرِّمُ الْمَصَّةُ وَلَا الْمَصَّتَانِ»

that the Messenger of Allah said: 'Breast-feeding makes unlawful (for marriages) the same things that blood tie make unlawful.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1937)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ النَّسَبِ»

[AI] "From the Prophet ﷺ he said: 'What is forbidden by lineage is also forbidden by breastfeeding.'"

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ النَّسَبِ»

[AI] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'What is forbidden by lineage is also forbidden by breastfeeding.'"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ النَّسَبِ»

that the Messenger of Allah said: 'Breast-feeding makes unlawful (for marriages) the same things that blood tie make unlawful.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1937)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ النَّسَبِ»

[AI] "On the authority of the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , he said: 'Do not forbid breastfeeding by suckling once or twice.'"

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تُحَرِّمُ الْمَصَّةُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ وَلَا الْمَصَّتَانِ»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Do not forbid the suckling, neither one suckling (from milk) nor two sucklings (from milk), nor the wet nurse, nor two wet nurses."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تُحَرِّمُ الْمَصَّةُ وَلَا الْمَصَّتَانِ وَلَا الرَّضْعَةُ وَلَا الرَّضْعَتَانِ»

[AI] The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not forbid breastfeeding nor the two breastfeeding times, nor the wet nurses and the two wet nurses."

أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تُحَرِّمُ الرَّضْعَةُ وَالرَّضْعَتَانِ أَوِ الْمَصَّةُ وَالْمَصَّتَانِ»

"What becomes unlawful through breastfeeding is that which becomes unlawful through birth." (Using translation from Muslim 1444b)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الْوِلَادَةِ»

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تُحَرِّمُ الْمَصَّةُ وَالْمَصَّتَانِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The suckling does not make anything prohibited except what the intestines have already milked out."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا يُحَرِّمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعِ الْمَصَّةُ وَالْمَصَّتَانِ وَلَا يُحَرِّمُ مِنْهُ إِلَّا مَا فَتَقَ الْأَمْعَاءَ مِنَ اللَّبَنِ»

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا يُحَرِّمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعِ إِلَّا مَا فَتَقَ الْأَمْعَاءَ فِي الثَّدْيِ وَكَانَ قَبْلَ الْفِطَامِ»

“No prohibition results from suckling except for what penetrates the intestines while on the breast before weaning.” (Using translation from Tirmidhī 1152)

«لَا يُحَرِّمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ إِلَّا مَا فَتَقَ الْأَمْعَاءَ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The act of suckling does not make prohibited what is forbidden by genealogy. It is only forbidden what is prohibited by the presence of milk (in the breast)."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا يُحَرِّمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ الْمَصَّةُ وَلَا الْمَصَّتَانِ إِنَّمَا يُحَرِّمُ مَا فَتَقَ اللَّبَنُ»

The Prophet ﷺ said: What is unlawful by reason of consanguinity is unlawful by reason of fosterage. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2055)

ؓ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الْوِلَادَةِ

The Prophet ﷺ said: What is unlawful by reason of consanguinity is unlawful by reason of fosterage. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2055)

رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الْوِلَادَةِ

[AI] He said, "Nothing is prohibited from breastfeeding except what is done in infancy."

أَنَّهُ قَالَ لَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعِ إِلَّا مَا كَانَ فِي الصِّغَرِ

[AI] He used to say that there is no breastfeeding except for those who were breastfed in their infancy.

أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ لَا رَضَاعَ إِلَّا لِمَنْ أَرْضَعَ فِي الصِّغَرِ

"What becomes unlawful (for marriage) through breast-feeding is that which becomes unlawful through lineage." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3302)

"إِنَّ الله ﷻ حرَّم مِن الرضاع مَا حَرَّمَ مِن النَّسَبِ".

"What becomes unlawful through breastfeeding is that which becomes unlawful through birth." (Using translation from Muslim 1444b)

"إِنَّ الله تَعَالى حَرَّمَ مِنَ الرضاعةِ ما حَرَّم من الولَادَة".

"لا تُحرِّمُ المَصَّةُ وَلا المَصَّتَان، وَلا الرَّضْعَةُ وَلا الرَّضْعَتَانِ".

"لا تُحرِّمُ المَصَّةُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ وَلا المَصّتَانِ".

"لا تُحرِّمُ منَ الرَّضَاعَة المَصَّةُ وَلا المَصّتَان، وَلا يُحَرِّمُ إلا مَا فَتَّقَ الأمْعَاءَ مِنَ اللبنِ".

"لاَ رَضَاعَ إِلَّا مَا كَانَ في الْحَوْلَيْنِ".

"لاَ رَضَاعَ إِلاَّ مَا فَتَقَ الأَمْعَاءَ".

"لَا يُحَرِّمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعِ إلا مَا فَتَقَ الأَمْعَاءَ في الثَّدْي، وَكَان قَبْلَ الفِطَامِ".

"يَحْرُمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنَ النَّسَبِ".

" عَنْ عَلِىٍّ قَالَ: لاَ يُحَرِّمُ مِنَ الرَّضَاع إِلَّا مَا كَانَ فِى الْحَوْلَيْنِ ".
