ذِكْرُ مَا يُقَالُ لِلْمُتَزَوِّجِ إِذَا تَزَوَّجَ أَوْ عَزَمَ عَلَى الْعَقْدِ عَلَيْهِ

ibnhibban:4052 – Muḥammad b. Isḥāq b. Khuzaymah > Naṣr b. Marzūq > Yaḥyá b. Ḥassān > al-Darāwardī > Suhayl b. Abū Ṣāliḥ from his father > Abū Hurayrah

[Machine] Indeed, the Prophet ﷺ used to say to a man who intended to get married, "May Allah bless you and shower His blessings upon you."  

ابن حبّان:٤٠٥٢ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَسَّانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الدَّرَاوَرْدِيُّ عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا أَرَادَ الرَّجُلُ أَنْ يَتَزَوَّجَ قَالَ لَهُ «بَارَكَ اللَّهُ لَكَ وَبَارَكَ عَلَيْكَ»

When the Prophet ﷺ congratulated a man on his marriage, he said: May Allah bless for you, and may He bless on you, and combine both of you in good (works).

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا رَفَّأَ الإِنْسَانَ إِذَا تَزَوَّجَ قَالَ بَارَكَ اللَّهُ لَكَ وَبَارَكَ عَلَيْكَ وَجَمَعَ بَيْنَكُمَا فِي خَيْرٍ
