ذِكْرُ الزَّجْرِ عَنْ حَمْلِ السِّلَاحِ فِي حَرَمِ اللَّهِ جَلَّ وَعَلَا

ibnhibban:3714 – Abū ʿArūbah > Salamah b. Shabīb > al-Ḥasan b. Muḥammad b. Aʿyan > Maʿqil b. ʿUbaydullāh al-Jazarī > Abū al-Zubayr > Jābir b. ʿAbdullāh

[Machine] I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, "It is not permissible for anyone to carry weapons in Mecca."  

ابن حبّان:٣٧١٤ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَرُوبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ شَبِيبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَعْيَنَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْقِلُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ الْجَزَرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا يَحِلُّ لِأَحَدٍ أَنْ يَحْمِلَ السِّلَاحَ بِمَكَّةَ*»

I heard Allah's Apostle ﷺ say: It is not permissible for any one of you to carry weapons in Mecca.
