ذِكْرُ إِطْفَاءِ الصَّدَقَةِ غَضَبَ الرَّبِّ جَلَّ وَعَلَا

ibnhibban:3309 – Muḥammad b. ʿUbaydullāh b. al-Faḍl al-Kalāʿī Biḥimṣ And al-Ḥusayn b. ʿAbdullāh b. Yazīd al-Qaṭṭān Bi-al-Rraqqah > ʿUqbah b. Mukram > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿĪsá > Yūnus b. ʿUbayd > al-Ḥasan > Anas b. Mālik

the Messenger of Allah said: "Indeed charity extinguishes the Lord's anger and it protects against the evil death." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 664)  

ابن حبّان:٣٣٠٩ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ الْكَلَاعِيُّ بِحِمْصَ وَالْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْقَطَّانُ بِالرَّقَّةِ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ مُكْرَمٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عِيسَى حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «الصَّدَقَةُ تُطْفِئُ غَضَبَ الرَّبِّ وَتَدْفَعُ مِيتَةَ السُّوءِ»

Abū ʿĪsá said that this Ḥadīth is Ḥasan-Gharīb in this particular context.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّ الصَّدَقَةَ لَتُطْفِئُ غَضَبَ الرَّبِّ وَتَدْفَعُ مِيتَةَ السُّوءِ  

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ
