ذِكْرُ خَبَرٍ أَوْهَمَ مَنْ لَمْ يُحْكِمْ صِنَاعَةَ الْحَدِيثِ، أَنَّ جَمْعَ الْمَالِ مِنْ حِلِّهِ غَيْرُ جَائِزٍ

ibnhibban:3212 – al-Ḥasan b. Sufyān > al-ʿAbbās b. al-Walīd al-Narsī > Yazīd b. Zurayʿ > Muḥammad b. ʿAmr > Abū Salamah > ʿĀʾishah

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said about the pain he was experiencing at the time of his death, "O Aisha, what have you done with the gold?" She replied, "I still have it." He said, "Bring it to me." It was between seven dinars and five dinars. So, I brought it and placed it in his hand. Then he said, "What does Muhammad think of Allah, if he were to meet Allah and this is with him, that he should spend it?"  

ابن حبّان:٣٢١٢ – أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ النَّرْسِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي وَجَعِهِ الَّذِي مَاتَ فِيهِ «يَا عَائِشَةُ مَا فَعَلْتِ الذَّهَبُ» قَالَتْ قُلْتُ هِيَ عِنْدِي قَالَ «فَأْتِينِي بِهَا» وَهِيَ بَيْنَ السَّبْعَةِ وَالْخَمْسَةِ فَجِئْتُ فَوَضَعْتُهَا فِي كَفِّهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ «مَا ظَنُّ مُحَمَّدٍ بِاللَّهِ لَوْ لَقِيَ اللَّهَ وَهَذِهِ عِنْدَهُ أَنْفِقِيهَا»

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said about the pain he suffered before his death, "What has happened to the gold?" I (Aisha) said, "I have it." He said, "Bring it to me." So I brought it to him while it was between nine and five. He placed it in his hand and then said, using his hand as a gesture, "What does Muhammad think of Allah if he were to meet Allah and he had this with him? Spend it."  

أحمد:٢٥٤٩٢ – حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي وَجَعِهِ الَّذِي مَاتَ فِيهِ مَا فَعَلَتِ الذَّهَبُ؟ قَالَتْ قُلْتُ هِيَ عِنْدِي قَالَ ائْتِينِي بِهَا فَجِئْتُ بِهَا وَهِيَ بَيْنَ التِّسْعِ وَالْخَمْسِ فَوَضَعَهَا فِي يَدِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ بِهَا وَأَشَارَ يَزِيدُ بِيَدِهِ مَا ظَنُّ مُحَمَّدٍ بِاللهِ لَوْ لَقِيَ اللهَ ﷻ وَهَذِهِ عِنْدَهُ أَنْفِقِيهَا  

ahmad:24222 – Yaḥyá > Muḥammad b. ʿAmr > Abū Salamah > ʿĀʾishah

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to Aisha during his illness in which he passed away, "O Aisha, what did you do with the gold?" She brought it between five and seven, or eight, or nine [as in weight], so he began to flip it with his hand and said, "What does Muhammad think of Allah, if he meets Him and this is with him? Spend it!"  

أحمد:٢٤٢٢٢ – حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ قَالَ قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي مَرَضِهِ الَّذِي مَاتَ فِيهِ يَا عَائِشَةُ مَا فَعَلَتِ الذَّهَبُ فَجَاءَتْ مَا بَيْنَ الْخَمْسَةِ إِلَى السَّبْعَةِ أَوِ الثَّمَانِيَةِ أَوِ تِسْعَةِ فَجَعَلَ يُقَلِّبُهَا بِيَدِهِ وَيَقُولُ مَا ظَنُّ مُحَمَّدٍ بِاللهِ ﷻ لَوْ لَقِيَهُ وَهَذِهِ عِنْدَهُ أَنْفِقِيهَا
