ذِكْرُ الْأَمْرِ بِالْعَتَاقَةِ عِنْدَ رُؤْيَةِ كُسُوفِ الشَّمْسِ أَوِ الْقَمَرِ لِمَنْ قَدْرَ عَلَى ذَلِكَ

ibnhibban:2855 – Aḥmad b. ʿAlī b. al-Muthanná > Abū Khaythamah > Muʿāwiyah b. ʿAmr > Zāʾidah > Hishām b. ʿUrwah > Fāṭimah b. al-Mundhir > Asmāʾ

The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to command us to free slaves on the occasion of an eclipse (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1192)

ابن حبّان:٢٨٥٥ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْمُنْذِرِ عَنِ أَسْمَاءَ قَالَتْ

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «يَأْمُرُ بِالْعَتَاقَةِ فِي صَلَاةِ الْكُسُوفِ»

أبو داود:١١٩٢ – حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ عَنْ هِشَامٍ عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ قَالَتْ

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَأْمُرُ بِالْعَتَاقَةِ فِي صَلاَةِ الْكُسُوفِ

ahmad:26923 – ʿAthhām b. ʿAlī Abū ʿAlī al-ʿĀmirī > Hishām b. ʿUrwah > Fāṭimah > Asmāʾ

[Machine] If we were commanded to say the talbiyah (يا لبيك اللهم لبيك) during the prayer of the solar eclipse.

أحمد:٢٦٩٢٣ – حَدَّثَنَا عَثَّامُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْعَامِرِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ قَالَتْ

إِنْ كُنَّا لَنُؤْمَرُ بِالْعَتَاقَةِ فِي صَلَاةِ الْخُسُوفِ

tabarani:20785 – Muḥammad b. al-Naḍr al-Azdī > Muʿāwiyah b. ʿAmr > Zāʾidah > Hishām b. ʿUrwah > Fāṭimah b. al-Mundhir > Asmāʾ b. Abū Bakr

[Machine] "That the Prophet ﷺ commanded the freeing of slaves during a solar eclipse."

الطبراني:٢٠٧٨٥ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ثنا زَائِدَةُ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْمُنْذِرِ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَمَرَ بِالْعِتَاقَةِ عِنْدَ كُسُوفِ الشَّمْسِ»
