ذِكْرُ تَفَضُّلِ اللَّهِ جَلَّ وَعَلَا عَلَى الْمُحَدِّثِ نَفْسَهُ بِقِيَامِ اللَّيْلِ ثُمَّ غَلَبَتْهُ عَيْنَاهُ حَتَّى نَامَ عَنْهُ بِكِتْبَةِ أَجْرِ مَا نَوَى
[Machine] Abu Dharr or Abu Darda doubted Shu'bah's narration. He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "No servant mentions himself while standing at night and then sleeps away from it except that his sleep is a charity that Allah grants to him and for which He will record the reward for what he intended."
قَالَ أَبُو ذَرٍّ أَوْ أَبُو الدَّرْدَاءِ شَكَّ شُعْبَةُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ يُحَدِّثُ نَفْسَهُ بِقِيَامِ سَاعَةٍ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَيَنَامُ عَنْهَا إِلَّا كَانَ نَوْمُهُ صَدَقَةً تَصَدَّقَ اللَّهُ بِهَا عَلَيْهِ وَكُتِبَ لَهُ أَجْرُ مَا نَوَى»
