[Machine] Regarding the character of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, she said, "Don't you read the Quran?" I said, "Yes, I do." She said, "The character of the Prophet of Allah ﷺ was the Quran." He said, "So, I decided to stand up and not ask her about anything."  

ابن حبّان:٢٥٥١a – أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْحَنْظَلِيُّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ بْنِ أَوْفَى قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا سَعْدُ بْنُ هِشَامِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ وَكَانَ جَارًا لَهُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِعَائِشَةَ أَخْبِرِينِي

عَنْ خُلُقِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَتْ أَلَسْتَ تَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ؟ قُلْتُ بَلَى قَالَتْ «خُلُقُ نَبِيِّ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ الْقُرْآنَ» قَالَ فَهَمَمْتُ أَنْ أَقُومَ وَلَا أَسْأَلُهَا عَنْ شَيْءٍ

عَنْ خُلُقِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَتْ أَلَيْسَ تَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ؟ قَالَ بَلَى قَالَتْ فَإِنَّ خُلُقَ نَبِيِّ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْقُرْآنُ  

«هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» على شرط البخاري ومسلم
