[Machine] "Three individuals came to the Prophet (pbuh) and said: 'We have a companion who is ill, so could you prescribe medication for him?' The Prophet remained silent for a while, then he repeated their request with the words: 'Prescribe him (the medication) if you wish, and if you wish, also perform Rukyah (supplication and prayer for healing).'

الحاكم:٨٢٨٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْمَحْبُوبِيُّ ثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ ثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى أَنْبَأَ إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ

أَنَّ ثَلَاثَةَ نَفَرٍ أَتَوُا النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالُوا إِنَّ صَاحِبًا لَنَا مَرِيضٌ فَوُصِفَ لَنَا الْكَيُّ أَفَنَكْوِيهِ؟ فَسَكَتَ ثُمَّ عَادَ ثُمَّ قَالَ فِي الثَّالِثَةِ «اكْوُوهُ إِنْ شِئْتُمْ وَإِنْ شِئْتُمْ فَارْضِفُوهُ»

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجَاهُ على شرط البخاري ومسلم

[Machine] A group came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, one of our companions complains. Shall we cure him?" The Prophet remained silent for a while, then he said, "If you wish, cure him, and if you wish, let him be."

[Machine] Some people came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "Our companion has complained. Should we beat him or cast him out if you wish?" Then he remained silent for a while and said, "If you wish, beat him; and if you wish, forgive him."

الطبراني:١٠٢٧٥ – حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْهَيْثَمِ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْقَوَارِيرِيُّ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ ثنا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ
