[Machine] "Allah the Almighty says, 'If he has brothers, then his mother shall have one-sixth.' [Quran 4:11] 'So, the brothers within your people are not true brothers.' Uthman ibn Affan said, 'I cannot undo what has happened before me and people have inherited it in various regions.'"

الحاكم:٧٩٦٠ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ كَامِلٍ الْقَاضِي ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ رَوْحٍ الْمَدَايِنِيُّ ثَنَا شَبَابَةُ بْنُ سَوَّارٍ ثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَى عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ فَقَالَ «إِنَّ الْأَخَوَيْنِ لَا يَرُدَّانِ الْأُمَّ عَنِ الثُّلُثِ» قَالَ

اللَّهُ ﷻ {فَإِنْ كَانَ لَهُ إِخْوَةٌ فَلِأُمِّهِ السُّدُسُ} [النساء 11] «فَالْأَخَوَانِ بِلِسَانِ قَوْمِكَ لَيْسَا بِإِخْوَةٍ» فَقَالَ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَفَّانَ لَا أَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ أَرُدَّ مَا كَانَ قَبْلِي وَمَضَى فِي الْأَمْصَارِ تَوَارَثَ بِهِ النَّاسُ

«هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» صحيح

[Machine] "Indeed, if Allah had brothers, then the brothers in the language of your people are not brothers. Uthman said, 'I am unable to respond to what was said before me and what has passed in the lands, and people have inherited it.' It is narrated from Ibn Abbas regarding two fathers and brothers that he said, 'Indeed, brothers prohibited the mother from one third so that they could have two thirds', contrary to the statement of Zaid bin Thabit and others."

" عن ابن عباس أنه دَخَلَ عَلَى عُثْمَانَ فَقَالَ: إِنَّ الأخوَيْنِ لاَ يَرُدَّانِ الأُمَّ مِنَ الثُّلُثِ، قال الله تعالى: {فَإِنْ كَانَ لَهُ إِخْوَةٌ} فَالأخَوَانِ بلسان قومك ليسا بإخْوَةٍ، فَقَالَ عُثْمَانُ: لاَ أَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ أَرُدَّ مَا كَانَ قَبْلِى وَمَضَى في الأمْصَارِ، وَتَوَارَت بِهِ النَّاسُ ".
