[Machine] Her nephews asked her permission for him, for he is from the best of your children. She said, "Leave me and do not remind me of him." But they continuously went to her until she gave them permission for him. When he entered upon her, Ibn Abbas said, "You have been named Ummul Mu'mineen (Mother of the Believers) in order to make you happy, and it was your name even before you were born. Indeed, you were among the most beloved wives of the Prophet ﷺ to him. And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ only loved what was good. The only thing that separates you from meeting the loved ones is the separation of the soul from the body. Surely, your necklace fell on the night of Al-Abwa, so Allah made it a choice for the Muslims in that matter. And Allah blessed and exalted revealed the verse of Tayammum, and there were revealed verses in you from the Quran. So there is no mosque of the Muslims where your excuse is not recited day and night." She said, "Leave me and do not remind me of you, O Ibn Abbas. I wish I had forgotten and been forgotten."

[Machine] And Abbas said, "Rejoice, O Mother of the Believers! By Allah, nothing will harm you or cause you distress as long as you support the Prophet Muhammad and his party, or his Companions, unless your soul separates from your body." She replied, "Is that so?" Ibn Abbas said, "You were indeed the most beloved wife to the Messenger of Allahﷺ and he only loved what was good. And Allah, the Almighty, revealed your innocence from above the seven heavens, so no mosque on earth is recited in except that your innocence is mentioned both day and night. And your necklace fell in the desert, so the Prophetﷺ and the people were detained there while seeking it. Eventually, the people ran out of water, so Allah, the Almighty, revealed the verse, 'Then purify yourselves with clean sand' [Quran 4:43], granting permission for everyone to benefit from your sake. By Allah, you are indeed blessed." She replied, "Leave me, Ibn Abbas, I would rather be forgotten and ignored by Allah than be mentioned in this manner."

[Machine] She said to him, "Give him permission if you wish." So I let him in. When he sat down, he said, "Take the good news." She also said, "He said, 'There is nothing between you and joining Muhammad except that the soul leaves the body. You were the most beloved woman to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not love anyone except in a lawful manner. Your necklace fell on the night of Al-Abwa', and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ searched for it until morning, while the people remained without water. So Allah revealed: 'And if you do not find water, then seek clean earth.' And that was because of you. And what Allah revealed for this Ummah in terms of ease and what Allah the Almighty revealed your innocence from above the seven heavens, with which the Trustworthy Spirit came. So when it became morning, there was no mosque among the mosques of Allah but that Allah was mentioned in it, day and night, and she said, 'Leave me alone, O Ibn Abbas, by the One in Whose hand is my soul, I wish I had been forgotten and left.'"
