[Machine] "He (the narrator) was sitting with the Prophet ﷺ when a man came to him and asked, 'O Messenger of Allah, what do you say about a man who has had sexual intercourse with a woman who is forbidden for him?' The Prophet ﷺ remained silent, and then said, 'Perform ablution and then pray.' Allah Almighty also revealed the verse, 'Establish prayer at the two ends of the day and at the approach of the night' [Hud 114]. The man then asked, 'Is this specific to me or for all Muslims?' The Prophet ﷺ replied, 'It is for all believing Muslims.' These narrations and the ones I mentioned indicate that the two respected scholars agreed on them, except that they were mentioned separately in the two books with slight variations. All of them are authentic and serve as evidence that any physical contact that requires ablution does not include sexual intercourse."
