[Machine] "He (the narrator) was sitting with the Prophet ﷺ when a man came to him and asked, 'O Messenger of Allah, what do you say about a man who has had sexual intercourse with a woman who is forbidden for him?' The Prophet ﷺ remained silent, and then said, 'Perform ablution and then pray.' Allah Almighty also revealed the verse, 'Establish prayer at the two ends of the day and at the approach of the night' [Hud 114]. The man then asked, 'Is this specific to me or for all Muslims?' The Prophet ﷺ replied, 'It is for all believing Muslims.' These narrations and the ones I mentioned indicate that the two respected scholars agreed on them, except that they were mentioned separately in the two books with slight variations. All of them are authentic and serve as evidence that any physical contact that requires ablution does not include sexual intercourse."

So there is nothing that a man who would do with his wife but he does it with her, except that he does not have intercourse with her?'" He said: "So Allah revealed: And perform the Salat, at the two ends of the day and in some hours of the night. Verily, the good deeds remove the evil deeds. That is a reminder for the mindful (11:114). So he ordered him to perform Wudu and Salat." Then Mu'adh said: "I said: 'O Messenger of Allah! Is that specifically for him, or for the believers in general?' He said: 'Rather it is for the believers in general.'" (Using translation from Tirmidhī 3113)

[Machine] A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, what do you think of a man who meets a woman he does not know, and he does not do anything with her except talk?" So Allah revealed the verse, "Establish prayer at the two ends of the day and at the approach of the night. Indeed, good deeds do away with misdeeds. That is a reminder for those who remember." The Prophet ﷺ said to the man, "Perform ablution and then pray." Mu'adh said, "O Messenger of Allah, is this command specific to him or is it for all believers in general?" The Prophet ﷺ said three times, "No, it is for all believers in general."

[Machine] I was sitting with the Prophet ﷺ when a man came and said, "O Messenger of Allah, a man has been afflicted by a woman whom it is not permissible for him to have relations with. He has not left anything that can afflict him from his wife except that it has afflicted him, except that he has not had intercourse with her." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Perform ablution well, then stand and pray." Then Allah revealed this verse {Establish prayer at the two ends of the day and at the approach of the night. Indeed, good deeds do away with misdeeds. That is a reminder for those who remember.} Mu'adh then asked, "Is this for him specifically, O Messenger of Allah, or for all Muslims in general?" He said, "For all Muslims in general."

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Perform ablution well, then stand and pray." Allah the Exalted then revealed this verse: "Establish prayer at the two ends of the day and at the approach of the night." The man asked, "Is this specific to him or is it for all Muslims in general?" The Prophet ﷺ replied, "Rather, it is for all Muslims in general, and similarly."
