[Machine] This neighborhood was made up of the migrants who would approach women in an inappropriate manner whenever they encountered them, whether they were walking towards them or walking away from them. When they arrived in the city, they married women from the inhabitants of Madinah (known as the Ansar). They wanted these women to agree to the same actions they used to do with the migrant women, but the Ansar women refused this. So they complained about it to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, revealed the following verse: "Your women are a plowed field for you, so approach your plowed field as you wish" [Surah Al-Baqarah 2:223]. This means that men can approach women from the front or the back, as long as it is done within the boundaries of Islam.

[Machine] The passage is in Arabic and translates to:

"The son of Abbas, indeed this tribe from Quraysh used to exploit women in Makkah and take pleasure in them, both from the front and from the back. But when they arrived in Madinah and married among the Anṣar, and attempted to do the same with them, they objected and said, 'This is something that was not done before.' The news spread until it reached the Prophet ﷺ, so Allah revealed in that regard, 'Your wives are a tilth for you, so come to your tilth however you wish.' Whether from the front or from the back. And what is meant by that is the location of procreation for agriculture. It means, 'Come to your procreation from wherever you wish.' Ibn Abbas said, 'Ibn Umar said regarding its end,' and by Allah, he misunderstood. And indeed Allah forgives him. And the narration was only in reference to this."
