[Machine] A man appeared from his wife and saw her ankle bracelet in the moonlight, which amazed him. He then fell upon her and went to the Prophet ﷺ and mentioned it to him. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, said [to His angels] before they interacted with one another [sexually], "Hold back until they can be purified."' The man said, "That happened for us." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said, "Hold back until you are purified."  

الحاكم:٢٨١٨ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الْفَقِيهُ أَنْبَأَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ثنا عَمَّارُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَا ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ هِشَامٍ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ رَجُلًا ظَاهَرَ مِنِ امْرَأَتِهِ فَرَأَى خَلْخَالَهَا فِي ضَوْءِ الْقَمَرِ فَأَعْجَبَهُ فَوَقَعَ عَلَيْهَا فَأَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لَهُ فَقَالَ قَالَ اللَّهُ ﷻ {مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ يَتَمَاسَّا} [المجادلة 3] فَقَالَ قَدْ كَانَ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «أَمْسِكْ حَتَّى تُكَفِّرَ» إسماعيل واه

He said: "I saw her anklets in the light of the moon." He said: "Do not approach her until you have done that which Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, has commanded."

nasai:3458 – Muḥammad b. Rāfiʿ > ʿAbd al-Razzāq > Maʿmar > al-Ḥakam b. Abān > ʿIkrimah > Taẓāhar a man from Āmraʾatih Faʾaṣābahā Qabl > Yukaffir Fadhakar Dhalik Lilnnabī ﷺ

"A man declared Zihar to his wife, then had intercourse with her before he had offered the expiation. He mentioned that to the Prophet. The Prophet said to him: 'What made you do that?' He said: 'May Allah have mercy on you, O Messenger of Allah. I saw her anklets, or her calves, in the light of the moon.' The Messenger of Allah said: 'Keep away from her until you have done that which Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, has commanded.'"

تَظَاهَرَ رَجُلٌ مِنِ امْرَأَتِهِ فَأَصَابَهَا قَبْلَ أَنْ يُكَفِّرَ فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مَا حَمَلَكَ عَلَى ذَلِكَ قَالَ رَحِمَكَ اللَّهُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ رَأَيْتُ خَلْخَالَهَا أَوْ سَاقَيْهَا فِي ضَوْءِ الْقَمَرِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَاعْتَزِلْهَا حَتَّى تَفْعَلَ مَا أَمَرَكَ اللَّهُ ﷻ

A man came to the Prophet, and he had uttered Zihar upon his wife then he had intercourse with her. So he said: 'O Messenger of Allah! I uttered Zihar against my wife, then I had intercourse with her before atoning.' He (pbuh) said: "What caused you to do that, may Allah have mercy upon you?' He said: 'I saw her anklets in the moonlight.' He said: 'Then do not go near her until you have done what Allah ordered (for it).'"  

Abū ʿĪsá said that this Ḥadīth is Ḥasan-Ṣaḥīḥ-Gharīb.

[Machine] A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I became intimate with my wife before performing ghusl, and I was attracted to her anklet that she wore yesterday." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Did Allah not say, '{Before they touch one another}?' Hold back until you perform ghusl."  

الطبراني:١٠٨٨٧ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سَلْمٍ الرَّازِيُّ ثنا سَهْلُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ ثنا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ قَالَ

[Machine] A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I had relations with my wife and I saw the whiteness of her ankles in the moonlight, and it amazed me, so I approached her." He said, "Did you not hear what Allah said before you came into contact?" He said, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah, I did." He said, "Hold yourself back from her until she attains purification."
