The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade earnings of a slave-girl unless it is known from where it came. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3427)   

الحاكم:٢٢٨٠أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُوسَى الْعَدْلُ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ الْجُنَيْدِ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ هُرَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ قَالَ

«نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنْ كَسْبِ الْأَمَةِ حَتَّى يُعْلَمَ مِنْ أَيْنَ هُوَ؟» أخرجناه شاهدا
