[Machine] The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever wears silk in this world will not wear it in the Hereafter. Even if they enter paradise, the people of paradise will wear it and they will not."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ forbade remaining silent when it is harmful.
No clothing was dearer to be Messenger of Allah ﷺ than shirt. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4026)
"Makhrafah Al-Abdi and I brought some cloth from Hajar, and the Messenger of Allah came to us while we were in Mina where there w a man who weighed (goods) in return for payment. He bought some trousers from us, and said to the man who weighed: 'Weigh it, and allow more."' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4592)
"When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, would wear a new garment he would mention what it was, whether an 'Imamah, a Qamis, or a Rida', then he would say: Allahumma lakal-hamdu, Anta kasawtanihi, as'aluka khairuhu wa khaira ma suni'a lahu, wa a'udhu bika min sharrihi wa sharri ma suni'a lahu'" ('O Allah! For You is the praise, You have clothed me, I ask You for its good and the god for which it was made, and I seek refuge in You from its evil and the evil for which it was made.) (Using translation from Tirmidhī 1767)
The Prophet ﷺ said: If anyone eats food and then says: "Praise be to Allah Who has fed me with this food and provided me with it through no might and power on my part," he will be forgiven his former and later sins. If anyone puts on a garment and says: "Praise be to Allah Who has clothed me with this and provided me with it through no might and power on my part," he will be forgiven his former and later sins. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4023)
[Machine] "Praise be to Allah who has clothed me with that which covers my nakedness and adorns me in my life." Then he said, "Do you know why I said this? I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ calling for new clothes and wearing them, and I do not consider that he reached his limit until he said something like what I said. Then he said, 'By the One in Whose hand is my soul, no Muslim servant wears new clothes and then says something like what I said, and deliberately gives them to a poor, needy Muslim person, except that he will be in the protection and care of Allah, as long as he remains in them, both in life and after death.'"
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Cover yourself and you will become more patient."
[Machine] She said, "I saw a man on the Day of the Trench, in the form of Dahyah ibn Khalifah al-Kalbi, riding on a beast and conversing with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . He had a turban on his head which he had lowered onto him. So I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he said, 'That is Jibril (the Angel Gabriel), peace be upon him, who has commanded me to march towards the Banu Qurayzah.'"
[Machine] A man came to the Prophet ﷺ wearing a turban, with one end hanging down between his shoulders. I asked the Prophet ﷺ and he said, "I saw him, that was Gabriel, peace be upon him."
[Machine] "We entered upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was sick. We greeted him and found him sleeping, with his face covered with a coarse cloth. He then uncovered his face and said, 'May Allah curse the Jews. They prohibit the fat of sheep and consume its price unlawfully.'"
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ cursed the man who dressed like a woman and the woman who dressed like a man. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4098)
[Machine] Aisha used to say when this verse was revealed, "Women took their waist-sheets, cut them at the edges and covered their faces with them."
[Machine] The translation to English is: "The Prophet ﷺ entered upon her while she was fermenting and said, 'Why don't you have two?'"
The Prophet of Allah ﷺ disliked ten things: Yellow colouring, meaning khaluq, dyeing grey hair, trailing the lower garment, wearing a gold signet-ring, a woman decking herself before people who are not within the prohibited degrees, throwing dice, using spells except with the Mu'awwidhatan, wearing amulets, withdrawing the penis before the semen is discharged, in the case of a woman who is wife or not a wife, and having intercourse with a woman who is suckling a child; but he did not declare them to be prohibited. Abu Dawud said: Only the transmitters of Basrah have transmitted this tradition. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4222)
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said: "Oh Khureim, if it weren't for two things in you, you would have been the man." He asked, "What are they, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "Your flaring trousers and your long hair."
[Machine] "That the Prophet (pbuh) wore a shirt that was below the ankles, and his sleeves reached his fingertips."
[Machine] "Measure for me, my son, and cut off the excess at the fingertips," he said. So I cut off some from the sleeves, and the sleeves became stacked one on top of the other. I said, "If you were to even them out with scissors." He said, "Leave it, my son, for this is how I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do." Ibn Umar said, "The shirt remained on my father until it wore out, and we would not pray until I saw some threads falling onto his feet."
[Machine] "Is Muhammad the Messenger of Allah?" He said, "Yes." And do you pray the five prayers? He said, "Yes." He said, "And do you fast in Ramadan?" He said, "Yes." He said, "As for you, O boy, you have a right over us. So wear a garment, for I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Whoever clothes a Muslim, Allah will continue to keep him in His protection as long as there is a thread or a fiber from it on him.'"
