13. Book of Fasting (6/6)
“We went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for Hajj in three ways. Some of us began the Talbiyah for Hajj and ‘Umrah together, some of us began the Talbiyah for Hajj on its own, and some of us began the Talbiyah for ‘Umrah on its own. Those who began the Talbiyah for Hajj and ‘Umrah together did not exit Ihram at all until they had completed the rites of Hajj. Those who began the Talbiyah for Hajj on its own did not exit ihram at all until they had completed the rites of Hajj. And those who began the Talbiyah for ‘Umrah on its own circumambulated the House and ran between Safa and Marwah, then whatever had been forbidden to them became permissible until the time for Hajj came.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3075)
from his father about Aishah, that she would carry some Zamzam water, and she would say: "Indeed the Messenger of Allah would carry it." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 963)
[Machine] "From Amr ibn Maymun, explaining and summarizing."
[Machine] "Swap the sacrifice/animal offerings, as the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded his companions to replace the sacrifice they made in the year of Hudaybiyah during the Umrah of Qadaa. Umar said, 'My father was very worried about the sacrifice they made in the year of Hudaybiyah, he used to say, 'I don't know whether the companions of the Prophet ﷺ substituted the gifts they offered in Hudaybiyah during the Umrah of Qadaa or not', until Abu Hadr (his father) informed him.'"
that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said about Makkah: "How sweet of a land you are and how dear you are to me, and if it were not that my people expelled me from you, I would not have lived in other than you." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 3926)
[Machine] He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Women are forbidden during Hajj to wear gloves, veils, garments touched by perfume, clothes colored with saffron, yellow, or red, jewelry, pants, slippers, or shirts. Instead, they should wear whatever colors of garments they like, such as green, white, or black."
[Machine] He used to leave the city and find firewood from the lumberjack, along with him a moist tree from some of the trees of the city. So he takes his goods and speaks to him, saying a good word. He speaks about it, saying, "I don't leave any booty that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ has gained and I am one of the richest people."
[Machine] Saad rode to his palace in Al-Aqeeq and found a slave cutting a tree. He seized him and when he returned, the family of the slave came to ask him to return what he had taken from their slave. He said, "May Allah forbid that I return anything that the Prophet ﷺ has given me as a gift." So, he did not return anything to them.
[Machine] And Al-Khudri said, "This is the mosque of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ," so we went to the Prophet ﷺ and asked him. He said, "This is my mosque, and there is much goodness in it."
“One prayer in the Quba’ Mosque is like ‘Umrah.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1411)
[Machine] The translation in English is: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to frequently go to Quba, whether on foot or riding."
"The Messenger of Allah got up one night and got dressed, then he went out. I told my slave girl Barirah to follow him, so she followed him until he came to Al-Baqi. Then he stood near if for as long as Allah willed that he should stand, then he left. Barirah came back before he did and told me, but I did not mention anything until morning came, then I mentioned that to him. He said: 'I was sent to the people of Al-Baqi' to pray for them."' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2038)
[Machine] The translation of the sentence into English is as follows: "When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to return from a journey and saw his family, he would say, 'O turn, O turn to our Lord, a turn that will not leave any fault on us.'"
[Machine] "We set out from Mecca on a pilgrimage or Umrah, and Usaid ibn Hudair was walking in front of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . We met a group of young men from the Ansar who used to receive their families when they arrived."
[Machine] I heard Abu Tha'labah Al-Khushani say, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came from a expedition, entered the mosque, and performed two units of prayer. He used to like, when he returned from a journey, to enter the mosque and pray two units of prayer, then leave." He then went to Fatimah and started kissing her face and eyes. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked her, "What is wrong with you?" She replied, "O Messenger of Allah, I see that your complexion has turned pale." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to her, "O Fatimah, Allah, the Almighty, has sent your father with a command that not a single dwelling or strand of hair on the face of the earth remains without Allah either granting it honor or humiliating it until the Day of Resurrection."
13.9 [Machine] The saying of Ibrahim ibn Quais.
[Machine] "The Prophet ﷺ, when he went out for battles, his first concern was always Fatimah." Then he mentioned the rest of the narration with different wording.
[Machine] "That Ibn Umar used to vie for the two corners (of the Kaaba). So I said, 'O Abu Abdullah, indeed you vie for the two corners with great competition; I have not seen anyone among the companions of the Messenger of Allah vie for them.' He said, 'If I do so, then indeed I have heard the Messenger of Allah say, 'Indeed, wiping over them (the two corners) is an expiation for sins.""
The night which the Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed with me was the one that followed the day of sacrifice. He came to me and Wahb ibn Zam'ah also visited me. A man belonging to the lineage of AbuUmayyah accompanied him. Both of them were wearing shirts. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to Wahb: Did you perform the obligatory circumambulation (Tawaf az-Ziyarah), AbuAbdullah? He said: No, by Allah Messenger of Allah. He (the Prophet) said: Take off your shirt. He then took it off over his head, and his companion too took his shirt off over his head. He then asked: And why (this), Messenger of Allah? He replied: On this day you have been allowed to take off ihram when you have thrown the stones at the jamrahs, that is, everything prohibited during the state of ihram is lawful except intercourse with a woman. If the evening comes before you go round this House (the Ka'bah) you will remain in the sacred state (i.e. ihram), just like the state in which you were before you threw stones at the jamrahs, until you perform the circumambulation of it (i.e. the Ka'bah). (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1999)
