[Machine] "We were with the Prophet ﷺ , and he went to the toilet and then came out. Food was brought, and it was said to him, 'Don't you perform ablution?' He replied, 'Shouldn't I pray and then perform ablution?'"
كُنَّا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَدَخَلَ الْغَائِطَ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ فَأُتِيَ بِطَعَامٍ فَقِيلَ أَلَا تَتَوَضَّأُ؟ فَقَالَ «أُصَلِّي فَأَتَوَضَّأُ؟»
We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he had come out of the privy. Food was presented to him. It was said to him (by the Companions around him): Wouldn't you perform ablution? Upon this he said: Why, am I to say prayer that I should perform ablution?
سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ كُنَّا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَجَاءَ مِنَ الْغَائِطِ وَأُتِيَ بِطَعَامٍ فَقِيلَ لَهُ أَلاَ تَوَضَّأُ فَقَالَ لِمَ أَأُصَلِّي فَأَتَوَضَّأَ
[Machine] Ibn Abbas heard that we were with the Prophet ﷺ and then he went to relieve himself. After that, he came out and called for food and said once, "Bring the food." So it was said to him, "O Messenger of Allah, don't you want to perform ablution?" He said, "I haven't prayed so I will perform ablution."
سَمِعَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ كُنَّا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَأَتَى الْغَائِطَ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ فَدَعَا بِالطَّعَامِ وَقَالَ مَرَّةً فَأُتِيَ بِالطَّعَامِ فَقِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَلا تَوَضَّأُ؟ قَالَ لَمْ أُصَلِّ فَأَتَوَضَّأَ
"عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: كُنَّا عنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ الْخَلاَءَ، ثُمَّ إِنَّهُ رَجَعَ فَأُتِىَ بِطَعَامٍ، فَقِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ الله: أَلاَ تَتَوضَّأُ؟ فَقَالَ: لَمْ أُصَلِّ فَأَتَوَضَّأَ".
"عَنِ ابْنِ عَبّاسٍ قَالَ: "كُنَّا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَجَاءَ مِنَ الغَائِطِ، فَأُتِىَ بِطَعَامٍ، فَقَالُوا لَهُ: أَلَا تَتَوَضَّأ؟ فَقَالَ: لَمْ أُصَلِّ فَأَتَوَضَّأ".
