“... . Till he reaches puberty , and a lunatic till he is restored to consciousness.” ‘Umar then began to utter: Allah is most great.

فَجَعَلَ عُمَرُ يُكَبِّرُ

[AI] "Umar, Abdullah, Ali, and Zaid have spent their lives in loyalty to the elderly."

«قَضَى عُمَرُ وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ وَعَلِيٌّ وَزَيْدٌ لِلْكُبْرِ بِالْوَلَاءِ»

[AI] Umar and Ali, loyalty to the elder.

عُمَرُ وَعَلِيٌّ «الْوَلَاءُ لِلْكُبْرِ»

[AI] "The loyalty belongs to the arrogance."

«الْوَلَاءُ لِلْكُبْرِ»

[AI] "The loyalty is to the seniors."

«الْوَلَاءُ لِلْكُبْرِ»

[AI] About Umar, Ali, and Zaid, they said: "The allegiance belongs to the elders, and they do not inherit women's allegiance except what they have emancipated or written."

عَنْ عُمَرَ وَعَلِيٍّ وَزَيْدٍ أَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا «الْوَلَاءُ لِلْكُبْرِ وَلَا يُوَرِّثُونَ النِّسَاءَ مِنَ الْوَلَاءِ إِلَّا مَا أَعْتَقْنَ أَوْ كَاتَبْنَ»

[AI] On the authority of Sulaiman bin Yassar, they said: "Women do not inherit from their husbands except what they have been freed or written for."

عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ أَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا «لَا تَرِثُ النِّسَاءُ مِنَ الْوَلَاءِ إِلَّا مَا أَعْتَقْنَ أَوْ كَاتَبْنَ»

[AI] And Uthman said, "Authority belongs to the elder ones."

وَعُثْمَانَ ؓ قَالَا الْوَلَاءُ لِلْكُبْرِ

"عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ: كَانَ عُمَرُ وَعَلِىٌّ وَزَيْدٌ يَقُولُونَ: الوَلَاءُ لِلْكُبْرِ، وَلَا يَرِثُ النِّسَاءُ مِنَ الوَلَاءِ إِلَّا مَا أعْتَقْنَ أَوْ تَكَاتبْنَ".

"عَنْ سعيد بن المسيب أن عمرَ كان يُوتِرُ من آخر الليل".

" عن سعيدِ بنِ المُسَيَّبِ: أنَّ عمرَ وعثمانَ قالا: الولاءُ لِلْكُبْرِ ".
