Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Journey is a piece of torture, for it disturbs one's sleep, eating and drinking. So, when you fulfill your job, you should hurry up to your family."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ السَّفَرُ قِطْعَةٌ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ يَمْنَعُ أَحَدَكُمْ نَوْمَهُ وَطَعَامَهُ وَشَرَابَهُ فَإِذَا قَضَى أَحَدُكُمْ نَهْمَتَهُ فَلْيُعَجِّلْ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Traveling is a kind of torture as it prevents one from eating, drinking and sleeping properly. So, when one's needs are fulfilled, one should return quickly to one's family."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ السَّفَرُ قِطْعَةٌ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ يَمْنَعُ أَحَدَكُمْ طَعَامَهُ وَشَرَابَهُ وَنَوْمَهُ فَإِذَا قَضَى نَهْمَتَهُ فَلْيُعَجِّلْ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Traveling is a kind of torture, as it prevents one from sleeping and eating! So when one has finished his job, he should return quickly to his family."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ السَّفَرُ قِطْعَةٌ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ يَمْنَعُ أَحَدَكُمْ نَوْمَهُ وَطَعَامَهُ فَإِذَا قَضَى نَهْمَتَهُ مِنْ وَجْهِهِ فَلْيُعَجِّلْ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ

Travelling is a tortuous experience. It deprives a person of his sleep. his food and drink. When one of you has accomplished his purpose, he should hasten his return to his family.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ السَّفَرُ قِطْعَةٌ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ يَمْنَعُ أَحَدَكُمْ نَوْمَهُ وَطَعَامَهُ وَشَرَابَهُ فَإِذَا قَضَى أَحَدُكُمْ نَهْمَتَهُ مِنْ وَجْهِهِ فَلْيُعَجِّلْ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ قَالَ نَعَمْ

“Traveling is a kind of torment, it keeps anyone of you from his sleep, food and drink. When anyone of you has fulfilled the purpose for which he travled, let him hasten to return to his family.” Another chain reports a similar hadith.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ السَّفَرُ قِطْعَةٌ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ يَمْنَعُ أَحَدَكُمْ نَوْمَهُ وَطَعَامَهُ وَشَرَابَهُ فَإِذَا قَضَى أَحَدُكُمْ نَهْمَتَهُ مِنْ سَفَرِهِ فَلْيُعَجِّلِ الرُّجُوعَ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ كَاسِبٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ سُهَيْلٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِنَحْوِهِ

Malik related to me from Sumayy, the mawla of Abu Bakr from Abu Salih from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Travelling is a portion of the torment. It denies you your sleep, food, and drink. When you have accomplished your purpose, you should hurry back to your family."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Travel is a portion of punishment, as a person becomes occupied with it and neglects his fasting, prayers, and worship. So when one of you fulfills his desire to travel, let him hasten to return to his family."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ السَّفَرُ قِطْعَةٌ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ لِأَنَّ الرَّجُلَ يَشْتَغِلُ فِيهِ عَنْ صِيَامِهِ وَصَلَاتِهِ وَعِبَادَتِهِ فَإِذَا قَضَى أَحَدُكُمْ نَهْمَتَهُ مِنْ سَفَرِهِ فَلْيُعَجِّلِ الرُّجُوعَ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «السَّفَرُ قِطْعَةٌ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ يَمْنَعُ أَحَدَكُمْ شَهْوَتَهُ وَطَعَامَهُ» قَالَ ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى «وَشَرَابَهُ فَإِذَا قَضَى أَحَدُكُمْ نَهْمَتَهُ فَلْيَرْجِعْ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ» قَالَ ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى «فَلْيُعَجِّلْ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ»

اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قال السفر قطعة من العذاب يمنع أحدكم شرابه ونومه فإذا قضى أحدكم نهمته فليعجل إلى أهله

"السَّفَرُ قِطْعَةٌ مِنْ الْعَذَابُ، يَمْنَعُ أَحَدَكُمْ: طَعَامَهُ، وَشَرَابَهُ، ونَوْمَهُ، فإِذَا قَضَى أحَدُكُمْ (نَهْمَتَهُ) مِنْ وَجْهِهِ، فَلْيُعْجِل (الرُّجُوعَ) إِلى أَهله".
