[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever buys a slave without specifying his price, then he has nothing (i.e. no rights) over him."  

الدارمي:٢٦٠٣أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنِ اشْتَرَى عَبْدًا وَلَمْ يَشْتَرِطْ مَالَهُ فَلَا شَيْءَ لَهُ»

ذِكْرُ الْبَيَانِ بِأَنَّ مُشْتَرِيَ النَّخْلَةِ بَعْدَمَا أُبِّرَتْ لَا يَكُونُ لَهُ مِنْ ثَمَرِهَا شَيْءٌ إِذَا لَمْ يَتَقَدَّمْهُ الشَّرْطُ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever buys a palm tree after it has been pollinated and does not stipulate its fruit, then he has nothing. And whoever buys a slave and does not stipulate his money, then he has nothing."
