The Prophet ﷺ said, "The most sinful person among the Muslims is the one who asked about something which had not been prohibited, but was prohibited because of his asking."

The Muslim who offends most against the Muslims is he who enquires about something which has not been forbidden to men, and it is declared forbidden because of his enquiry.

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Indeed, one of the greatest wrongdoings among the Muslims is when a person asks about something, and then people become annoyed because of his asking, to the extent that a prohibition regarding that thing is revealed due to his questioning."
