"Whoever follows the funeral of a Muslim man, seeking reward, and offers the prayer and buries him, will have two Qirats. And whoever offers the funeral prayer then goes back before the burial, then he returns with one Qirat of reward."  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ تَبِعَ جَنَازَةَ رَجُلٍ مُسْلِمٍ احْتِسَابًا فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهَا وَدَفَنَهَا فَلَهُ قِيرَاطَانِ وَمَنْ صَلَّى عَلَيْهَا ثُمَّ رَجَعَ قَبْلَ أَنْ تُدْفَنَ فَإِنَّهُ يَرْجِعُ بِقِيرَاطٍ مِنَ الأَجْرِ  

[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ : Whoever follows a Muslim funeral in faith and anticipation, then prays upon it and stays until it is buried, will return with two qirats of reward, and each qirat is equal to the size of Mount Uhud. And whoever prays upon it and leaves before it is buried, then indeed, he will only return with one qirat.  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ اتَّبَعَ جَنَازَةَ مُسْلِمٍ إِيمَانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهَا وَأَقَامَ حَتَّى تُدْفَنَ رَجَعَ بِقِيرَاطَيْنِ مِنَ الْأَجْرِ كُلُّ قِيرَاطٍ مِثْلُ أُحُدٍ وَمَنْ صَلَّى عَلَيْهَا وَرَجَعَ قَبْلَ أَنْ تُدْفَنَ فَإِنَّهُ يَرْجِعُ بِقِيرَاطٍ  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever follows the funeral procession of a Muslim with the intention of seeking reward and stays with it until the funeral prayer is offered and the burial is completed, he will return with two great rewards for every Qirat. And whoever offers the funeral prayer and then leaves before the burial, he will return with one great reward." Ishaq said: "Out of faith and seeking reward." And he said: "And if he leaves before it is placed in the grave, he will return with a reward."  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ تَبِعَ جِنَازَةَ مُسْلِمٍ احْتِسَابًا وَكَانَ مَعَهَا حَتَّى يُصَلَّى عَلَيْهَا وَيُفْرَغَ مِنْ دَفْنِهَا فَإِنَّهُ يَرْجِعُ مِنَ الْأَجْرِ بِقِيرَاطَيْنِ كُلُّ قِيرَاطٍ مِثْلُ أُحُدٍ وَمَنْ صَلَّى عَلَيْهَا وَرَجَعَ قَبْلَ أَنْ تُدْفَنَ فَإِنَّهُ يَرْجِعُ بِقِيرَاطٍ قَالَ إِسْحَاقُ إِيمَانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا وَقَالَ فَإِنْ رَجَعَ قَبْلَ أَنْ تُوضَعَ فِي الْقَبْرِ فَإِنَّهُ يَرْجِعُ بِقِيرَاطٍ  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever follows the funeral of a Muslim with faith and seeking reward, and prays for him until he is buried, then sits until he is placed in his grave, he will return with two measures of reward similar to Uhud mountain. And whoever prays for him and leaves before he is buried, he will have one measure of reward."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنِ اتَّبَعَ جَنَازَةَ مُسْلِمٍ إِيمَانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا حَتَّى يُصَلِّيَ عَلَيْهَا ثُمَّ يَقْعُدُ حَتَّى يُوضَعَ فِي قَبْرِهِ فَإِنَّهُ يَرْجِعُ وَلَهُ قِيرَاطَانِ مِنَ الْأَجْرِ وَهُمَا مِثْلُ أُحُدٍ وَمَنْ صَلَّى عَلَيْهَا ثُمَّ رَجَعَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُوضَعَ فِي الْقَبْرِ فَلَهُ قِيرَاطٌ»  

"Whoever follows the funeral of a Muslim man, seeking reward, and offers the prayer and buries him, will have two Qirats. And whoever offers the funeral prayer then goes back before the burial, then he returns with one Qirat of reward." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1996)  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ تَبِعَ جِنَازَةَ رَجُلٍ مُسْلِمٍ احْتِسَابًا فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهَا وَدَفَنَهَا فَلَهُ قِيرَاطَانِ وَمَنْ صَلَّى عَلَيْهَا ثُمَّ رَجَعَ قَبْلَ أَنْ تُدْفَنَ فَإِنَّهُ يَرْجِعُ بِقِيرَاطٍ مِنَ الْأَجْرِ»  

"مَنْ تَبعَ جنَازَةَ مُسْلمٍ إِيمَانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا، وَكَانَ مَعَها حَتَّى يُصَلَّى عَلَيهَا ويُفْرغَ مِن دَفْنِها فَإِنَّه يَرْجِعُ من الأجْرِ بِقِيرَاطَين، كُلُّ قِيراطٍ مِثْلُ أُحُدٍ، وَمَنْ صَلَّى عَلَيهَا ثُمَّ رَجَعَ قَبْلَ أَنْ تُدْفَنَ، فَإِنَّهُ يَرْجِعُ بِقِيراط من الأَجْرِ".
