I participated in the Ghazwa of Tabuk along with Messenger of Allah ﷺ and I gave a young camel to be ridden in Jihad and that was, to me, one of my best deeds. Then I employed a laborer who quarrelled with another person. One of them bit the hand of the other and the latter drew his hand from the mouth of the former pulling out his front tooth. Then the former instituted a suit against the latter before the Prophet who rejected that suit saying, "Do you expect him to put out his hand for you to snap as a male camel snaps (vegetation)?"

"I went on a campaign with the Messenger of Allah in the Army of Hardship, and this was the deed of which I was most sure. I had a hired man who fought with another person. One of them bit the finger of the other, who pulled his finger away and a front tooth fell out. He went to the Prophet who considered the tooth to be in vain, and said: "Would he put his hand in your mouth for you to bite it?" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4769)

[Machine] I participated in the Battle of Tabuk with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , alongside Abu Bakr As-Siddiq. This battle was one of my greatest achievements, and I hired a helper to fight alongside me. During the battle, my helper got into a fight with another man and he bit his hand, causing him to lose his two fingers. The injured man then complained to the Prophet ﷺ about what happened. The Prophet ﷺ dismissed the complaint and said, "Would you want your hand to make him suffer by biting it like a stallion bites?"

[Machine] I participated in the Battle of Tabuk with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. I was accompanied by a servant named Ajeer who fought alongside me. He fought against an opponent and bit his hand, causing his thumb to fall off. The Prophet ﷺ was informed about this and he asked the servant if he should leave his hand in his mouth so that he could bite it off completely, like a stallion bites off a piece. The servant then let go of the hand.
