[Machine] I and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to perform ablution from a single vessel, and that container at that time was called "Al-Faraqah".  

البيهقي:٩٢٤أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ فُورَكٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

كُنْتُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ نَغْتَسِلُ مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ وَذَلِكَ الْقَدَحُ يَوْمَئِذٍ يُدْعَى الْفَرَقَ
