[Machine] They both came together, and when Ali saw that, he welcomed both of them and said, "Here I am, answering the call for Umrah and Hajj together." Uthman then said, "Do you see me prohibiting people from doing something while you do it?" Ali responded, "I would never abandon the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ because of what someone among the people says."

When ʿAli ؓ saw that, he entered ihram for both of them together and said: Here I am for ʿUmrah and Hajj together ‘Uthman ؓ said: You see me telling the people not to do that and you do it? He said: I will not give up a Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for the opinion of anyone among the people.
