[Machine] A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked him. He said: "One of you asks me about news from the sky while he neglects the appearance of his nails, which are like birds' nails. In them, impurity and spittle gather." This is the statement of Abu Ayyub Al-Azdi, not Abu Ayyub Al-Ansari.  

البيهقي:٨٢٩ – كَمَا أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ فُورَكٍ أنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا قُرَيْشُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ عَنْ وَائِلِ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ قَالَ أَتَيْتُ أَبَا أَيُّوبَ الْأَزْدِيَّ فَصَافَحْتُهُ فَرَأَى أَظْفَارِي طُوَالًا فَقَالَ

أَتَى رَجُلٌ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَسْأَلُهُ فَقَالَ يَسْأَلُنِي أَحَدُكُمْ عَنْ خَبَرِ السَّمَاءِ وَيَدَعُ أَظْفَارَهُ كَأَظْفَارِ الطَّيْرِ يَجْتَمِعُ فِيهَا الْجَنَابَةُ وَالتَّفَثُ وَهَذَا مُرْسَلٌ أَبُو أَيُّوبَ الْأَزْدِيُّ غَيْرُ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ

جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَسَأَلَهُ عَنْ خَبَرِ السَّمَاءِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَسْأَلُ أَحَدُكُمْ عَنْ خَبَرِ السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ يَدَعُ أَظْفَارَهُ كَأَظْفَارِ الطَّيْرِ يَجْتَمِعُ فِيهِ الْجَنَابَةُ وَالتَّفَثُ لَفْظُ الْأَسْفَاطِيِّ هَكَذَا
