[Machine] Aisha asked, "Why does a menstruating woman have to make up for fasting but not for prayer?" Her companions asked her, "Are you a Haruriyyah (Kharijite)?" She replied, "I am not a Haruriyyah, but I am asking." She said, "This used to happen to us during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . We were commanded to make up for fasting but were not commanded to make up for prayer." Ma'mar narrated to us from Ayyub, from Abu Qilabah, from Muadhah, from Aisha, something similar to this.  

البيهقي:٨١١٢ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ يَعْنِي الصَّيْدَلَانِيَّ وَجَعْفَرُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ يَعْنِي الْحَافِظَ قَالَا ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ ح وَأنبأ أَبُو الْفَضْلِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْمُزَكِّي ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أنبأ مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الْأَحْوَلِ عَنْ مُعَاذَةَ الْعَدَوِيَّةِ أَنَّ امْرَأَةً

سَأَلَتْ عَائِشَةَ ؓ مَا بَالُ الْحَائِضِ تَقْضِي الصَّوْمَ وَلَا تَقْضِي الصَّلَاةَ؟ فَقَالَتْ لَهَا أَحَرُورِيَّةٌ أَنْتِ؟ فَقَالَتْ لَسْتُ بِحَرُورِيَّةٍ وَلَكِنِّي أَسْأَلُ فَقَالَتْ كَانَ يُصِيبُنَا ذَلِكَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَنُؤْمَرُ بِقَضَاءِ الصَّوْمِ وَلَا نُؤْمَرُ بِقَضَاءِ الصَّلَاةِ قَالَ مَعْمَرٌ وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ مُعَاذَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ مِثْلَهُ

I asked 'A'isha: What is the reason that a menstruating woman completes the fasts (that she abandons during her monthly course). but she does not complete the prayers? She (Hadrat 'A'isha) said: Are you a Haruriya? I said: I am not a Haruriya, but I simply want to inquire. She said: We passed through this (period of menstruation), and we were ordered to complete the fasts, but were not ordered to complete the prayers.  

مسلم:٣٣٥c – وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ مُعَاذَةَ قَالَتْ

سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ فَقُلْتُ مَا بَالُ الْحَائِضِ تَقْضِي الصَّوْمَ وَلاَ تَقْضِي الصَّلاَةَ فَقَالَتْ أَحَرُورِيَّةٌ أَنْتِ قُلْتُ لَسْتُ بِحَرُورِيَّةٍ وَلَكِنِّي أَسْأَلُ قَالَتْ كَانَ يُصِيبُنَا ذَلِكَ فَنُؤْمَرُ بِقَضَاءِ الصَّوْمِ وَلاَ نُؤْمَرُ بِقَضَاءِ الصَّلاَةِ

I said, "No, but I am asking." She said, "That used to happen to us with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . He would order us to make up for the missed fasting days but not for the missed prayers." Ma'mar narrated to me from Ayyub, from Abu Qilabah, from Muadhah, from Aisha, the same narration.  

أحمد:٢٥٩٥١ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الْأَحْوَلِ عَنْ مُعَاذَةَ قَالَتْ

[Machine] I asked Aisha about a woman who menstruates and observes fasting but does not observe prayer. Aisha replied to her, "What are you, a Hururiyyah?" She said, "I am not a Hururiyyah, but I am asking you." Aisha said, "That used to happen to us during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . We were commanded to make up for the missed fasting days, but we were not commanded to make up for the missed prayers." Ma'mar reported to us from Ayyub from Abu Qilabah from Muadhah from Aisha with a similar narration.
