(From the daughter of Khalid bin Sa id bin Al-ʿAsi) who said that she had heard the Prophet ﷺ seeking refuge with Allah from the punishment in the grave.

أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَهُوَ يَتَعَوَّذُ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ

I heard the Prophet ﷺ seeking refuge with Allah from the punishment of the grave.

سَمِعَ مِنَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ غَيْرَهَا قَالَتْ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَتَعَوَّذُ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ

Abu Huraira reported. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ seeking refuge from the torment of the grave after this (after the revelation).

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ يَسْتَعِيذُ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ

"I heard the Messenger of Allah after that seeking refuge with Allah from the torment of the grave."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ يَسْتَعِيذُ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ

"The Prophet [SAW] used to say in his supplication: 'Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-kasali, wal-harami, wal-jubni, wal-bukhli, wa fitnatid-dajjali, wa 'adhabil-qabr (O Allah, I seek refuge in You from laziness, old age, cowardice, miserliness, the tribulation of the Dajjal and the torment of the grave.)"

أَنَسٌ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَدْعُو اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكَسَلِ وَالْهَرَمِ وَالْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ وَفِتْنَةِ الدَّجَّالِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ

"Humaid narrated: 'Anas - bin Malik - was asked about the torment of the grave and about the Dajjal. He said: "The Prophet of Allah [SAW] used to say: Allahumma, inni a'udhu bika minal-kasali, wal-harami, wal-jubni, wal-bukhli, wa fitnatid-dajjali, wa 'adhabil-qabr (O Allah, I seek refuge with You from laziness, old age, cowardice, stinginess, the tribulation of the Dajjal and the torment of the grave.)'"

كَانَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكَسَلِ وَالْهَرَمِ وَالْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ وَفِتْنَةِ الدَّجَّالِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ

The Messenger of Allah [SAW] used to say: "Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-'ajzi, wal-kasali, wal-bukhli, wal-harami, 'adhabil-qabr wa fitnatil-mahya wal-mamat (O Allah, I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, and miserliness and old age, and the torment of the grave, and the trials of life and death.)" أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَقُولُ اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكَسَلِ وَالْبُخْلِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ

"The Prophet [SAW] used to say in his supplication: 'Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-kasali, wal-harami, wal-jubni, wal-bukhli, wa fitnatid-dajjali, wa 'adhabil-qabr (O Allah, I seek refuge in You from laziness, old age, cowardice, miserliness, the tribulation of the Dajjal and the torment of the grave.)" كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَقُولُ اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكَسَلِ وَالْهَرَمِ وَالْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ وَفِتْنَةِ الدَّجَّالِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ

"The Prophet [SAW] used to say in his supplication: 'Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-kasali, wal-harami, wal-jubni, wal-bukhli, wa fitnatid-dajjali, wa 'adhabil-qabr (O Allah, I seek refuge in You from laziness, old age, cowardice, miserliness, the tribulation of the Dajjal and the torment of the grave.)" كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَتَعَوَّذُ يَقُولُ اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكَسَلِ وَالْهَرَمِ وَالْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ وَفِتْنَةِ الدَّجَّالِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ

"Humaid narrated: 'Anas - bin Malik - was asked about the torment of the grave and about the Dajjal. He said: "The Prophet of Allah [SAW] used to say: Allahumma, inni a'udhu bika minal-kasali, wal-harami, wal-jubni, wal-bukhli, wa fitnatid-dajjali, wa 'adhabil-qabr (O Allah, I seek refuge with You from laziness, old age, cowardice, stinginess, the tribulation of the Dajjal and the torment of the grave.)'" كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكَسَلِ وَالْهَرَمِ وَالْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ وَفِتْنَةِ الدَّجَّالِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ

" O Allah, I seek refuge in Thee from incapacity, from indolence, from cowardice, from senility, from miserliness, and I seek refuge in Thee from the torment of the grave and from trial of the life and death." (Using translation from Muslim 2706a)

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكَسَلِ وَالْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ وَفِتْنَةِ الدَّجَّالِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ

"I heard the Messenger of Allah after that seeking refuge with Allah from the torment of the grave." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2061)

«سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَسْتَعِيذُ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ»

The Messenger of Allah [SAW] used to say: "Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-'ajzi, wal-kasali, wal-bukhli, wal-harami, 'adhabil-qabr wa fitnatil-mahya wal-mamat (O Allah, I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, and miserliness and old age, and the torment of the grave, and the trials of life and death.)" أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَدْعُو «اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكَسَلِ وَالْهَرَمِ وَالْعَجْزِ وَالْبُخْلِ وَفِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيحِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ»

قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكَسَلِ وَالْهَرَمِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَمِنْ فتنة الصدر

فَقَالَ كَانَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكَسَلِ وَالْهَرَمِ وَالْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ وَفِتْنَةِ الدَّجَّالِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ seeking refuge from the torment of the grave.

«سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَسْتَعِيذُ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ»

[AI] "She heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ seek refuge with Allah from the punishment of the grave."

أَنَّهَا «سَمِعَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَتَعَوَّذُ بِاللهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ seek refuge from the punishment of the grave.

«سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَتَعَوَّذُ مِنِ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ seek refuge in Allah from the punishment of the grave.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «يَسْتَعِيذُ بِاللهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ»

"Humaid narrated: 'Anas - bin Malik - was asked about the torment of the grave and about the Dajjal. He said: "The Prophet of Allah [SAW] used to say: Allahumma, inni a'udhu bika minal-kasali, wal-harami, wal-jubni, wal-bukhli, wa fitnatid-dajjali, wa 'adhabil-qabr (O Allah, I seek refuge with You from laziness, old age, cowardice, stinginess, the tribulation of the Dajjal and the torment of the grave.)'" كَانَ نَبِيُّ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكَسَلِ وَالْهَرَمِ وَالْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ وَفِتْنَةِ الدَّجَّالِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ»

"اللَّهُمَّ إِنى أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِن الفَقْر، وَعَذِابِ القَبْرِ، وَفِتْنَةِ المَحْيا، وَالمَمَاتِ ".

"اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ البُخْل وَالكسَلِ، وَأرْذِلِ العُمُرِ، وَعَذَابِ القَبْرِ، وَفِتْنَةِ المَحيَا وَالمَمَاتِ ".

"اللَّهُم إِنّى أعُوذُ بكَ مِنَ الكسَل وَالهَرَم، وَالجُبن وَالبُخْلِ، وَسُوءِ الكبرَ، وَفِتْنَةِ الدجَّال، وعَذَابِ القَبْرِ ".

"اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بكَ مِنَ الهَمِّ وَالْكَسَلِ وَعَذَاب الْقَبْرِ" .

"اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الكَسَلِ والْهَرَم وفتْنَة الصَّدْر وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْر" .

"عَنْ أَبِى هُرَيْرَة أَنَّ النَّبِىَّ ﷺ صَلَّى عَلَى المَنْفُوسِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: اللَّهمَّ أَعِذْهُ مِنْ عَذَابِ القَبْرِ".

"عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ صَلَّى عَلَى المنْفُوسِ (*) ثُمَّ قَالَ: اللُّهُمَّ أَعذْهُ مِنْ عَذَابِ القَبْرِ".
