The Prophet ﷺ said: Washing and the use of tooth-stick are necessary for every adult (person) on Friday; and everyone should apply perfume whatever one has. The narrator Bukair did not mention of 'Abd al-Rahman; and about perfume he said that even it might be of the kind used by women. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 344)   

البيهقي:٥٩٥٥ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ حَسَنِ بْنِ مُهَاجِرٍ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ سَوَّادٍ السَّرْحِيُّ ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ أَنَّ سَعِيدَ بْنَ أَبِي هِلَالٍ وَبُكَيْرَ بْنَ الْأَشَجِّ حَدَّثَاهُ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ غُسْلُ يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ عَلَى كُلِّ مُحْتَلِمٍ وَيَسْتَاكُ وَيَمَسُّ مِنَ الطِّيبِ مَا قَدَرَ عَلَيْهِ إِلَّا أَنَّ بُكَيْرًا لَمْ يَذْكُرْ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَقَالَ مِنَ الطِّيبِ وَلَوْ مِنْ طِيبِ الْمَرْأَةِ  

رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَوَّادٍ

Bathing on Friday for every adult, using of Miswak and applying some perfume, that is available-these are essential. So far as the perfume is concerned, it may be that used by a lady.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Ghusl and using siwak on Fridays are obligatory for everyone who has reached the age of puberty, and he should put on whatever he can find of perfume." Except that Bukair (one of the narrators in one chain) did not mention 'Abdur-Rahman, and about the perfume he said: "Even if it is women's perfume."
