[Machine] "And that his speech interrupts the conversation and that they used to talk on Fridays. And Umar was sitting on the pulpit, so when the muezzin stopped, Umar stood up and no one spoke until he finished both sermons. Then when the prayer was established and Umar descended, they spoke."  

البيهقي:٥٦٨٦وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ الْأَصَمُّ أنبأ الرَّبِيعُ أنبأ الشَّافِعِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ثَعْلَبَةُ بْنُ أَبِي مَالِكٍ أَنَّ قُعُودَ الْإِمَامِ يَقْطَعُ السُّبْحَةَ

وَأَنَّ كَلَامَهُ يَقْطَعُ الْكَلَامَ وَأَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يَتَحَدَّثُونَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَعُمَرُ جَالِسٌ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فَإِذَا سَكَتَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ قَامَ عُمَرُ فَلَمْ يَتَكَلَّمْ أَحَدٌ حَتَّى يَقْضِيَ الْخُطْبَتَيْنِ كِلْتَيْهِمَا فَإِذَا قَامَتِ الصَّلَاةُ وَنَزَلَ عُمَرُ تَكَلَّمُوا

"عَنْ ثَعْلَبَةَ بْنِ أَبِى مَالك أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يُصَلُّونَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ حَتَّى يَخْرُجَ عُمَرُ، فَإِذَا خَرَجَ وجَلَسَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فَأَذَّنَ الْمؤُذِّنُ جَلَسْنَا نَتَحَدَّثُ حَتَّى إِذَا سَكَتَ الْمُؤذَّنُ وَقَامَ عُمَرُ سَكَتُوا فَلَمْ يَتَكَلَّمْ أَحَدٌ حَتَّى يَقْضِى الْخُطبَتَيْنِ".
