Anas b. Malik reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ observed Qunut for a month in the dawn prayer after ruku' and invoked curse upon Bani Usayya.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَنَتَ شَهْرًا بَعْدَ الرُّكُوعِ فِي صَلاَةِ الْفَجْرِ يَدْعُو عَلَى بَنِي عُصَيَّةَ

The Prophet ﷺ recited the supplication for a month (in prayer) and then gave it up.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَنَتَ شَهْرًا ثُمَّ تَرَكَهُ

It was narrated from Ubayy bin Ka’b that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray Witr and he would recite Qunut before Ruku’.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُوتِرُ فَيَقْنُتُ قَبْلَ الرُّكُوعِ

“I asked Anas bin Malik about Qunut, and he said: ‘The Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited Qunut after Ruku’.’”

قَنَتَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بَعْدَ الرُّكُوعِ

[AI] Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to prolong a month by supplicating after the bowing (in prayer).

إِنَّمَا قَنَتَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ شَهْرًا يَدْعُو بَعْدَ الرُّكُوعِ

[AI] "That the Prophet ﷺ stayed in prostration for a while after the bowing."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَنَتَ شَهْرًا بَعْدَ الرُّكُوعِ

The Prophet ﷺ recited the supplication for a month (in prayer) and then gave it up. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1445)

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَنَتَ شَهْرًا ثُمَّ تَرَكَهُ

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed (saying the) Qunut after bowing for a month, supplicating against Ri'l, Dhakwan and 'Usayyah who had disobeyed Allah and His Messenger." (Sahih). (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1070)

قَنَتَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ شَهْرًا بَعْدَ الرُّكُوعِ يَدْعُو عَلَى رِعْلٍ وَذَكْوَانَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to prolong the prostration (sujood) for a while after the bowing (rukoo') in the morning prayer (salat al-ghadaa') and supplicate.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَنَتَ شَهْرًا بَعْدَ الرُّكُوعِ فِي صَلَاةِ الْغَدَاةِ يَدْعُو

The Prophet ﷺ recited the supplication for a month (in prayer) and then gave it up. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1445)

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَنَتَ شَهْرًا ثُمَّ تَرَكَهُ

[AI] That the Prophet ﷺ prolonged his prostration after bowing for a month.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَنَتَ شَهْرًا بَعْدَ الرُّكُوعِ

The Prophet ﷺ recited the supplication for a month (in prayer) and then gave it up. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1445)

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَنَتَ شَهْرًا ثُمَّ تَرَكَهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ supplicated for a month after the bowing.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَنَتَ شَهْرًا بَعْدَ الرُّكُوعِ

[AI] He used to offer voluntary prayers before the bowing (rak'ahs) in a prayer, but he did not offer voluntary prayers before the morning prayer.

أَنَّهُ «كَانَ يَقْنُتُ فِي الْوِتْرِ قَبْلَ الرُّكُوعِ وَلَا يَقْنُتُ فِي صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ»

[AI] He used to supplicate after the bowing.

أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقْنُتُ بَعْدَ الرُّكُوعِ

"عن الأسودِ بن يَزِيدَ: أَنَّ عُمَرَ قَنتَ فِى الْوِتْرِ قَبْلَ الرُّكُوعِ".

"عن أبى عبد الرحمنِ السُّلَميّ: أنَّ عليّا كانَ يقنتُ فِى الوترِ بعدَ الركوعِ".

"عن أبى عبد الرحمن السلمى: أن عليّا حين قنت في الفجر حين ركع".

"أَنَّ رَسُولَ الله ﷺ قَنَتَ فِى الْوِتْرِ قَبْلَ الرُّكُوعِ".
