[Machine] I asked Abu Dharr, "Which night prayer is better?" He said, "I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and he said, 'The prayer performed during the latter half of the night, and the one done in a little quantity.'"
قُلْتُ لِأَبِي ذَرٍّ ؓ أِيُّ صَلَاةِ اللَّيْلِ أَفْضَلُ؟ فَقَالَ سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ نِصْفُ اللَّيْلِ وَقَلِيلٌ فَاعِلُهُ

[Machine] I asked Abu Dharr, "Which part of the night is the best for praying?" Abu Dharr replied, "I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ just as you have asked me. He said, 'The best part of the night for praying is the last part of the night or the middle of the night.'"
قُلْتُ لِأَبِي ذَرٍّ أَيُّ قِيَامِ اللَّيْلِ أَفْضَلُ؟ قَالَ أَبُو ذَرٍّ سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَمَا سَأَلْتَنِي شَكَّ عَوْفٌ فَقَالَ جَوْفُ اللَّيْلِ الْغَابِرِ أَوْ نِصْفُ اللَّيْلِ وَقَلِيلٌ فَاعِلُهُ
[Machine] Abu Khalid, whose name is known to me as Mujahir, and others say Abu Makhlad, from Abu Al-'Aliyah, said, narrating from Abu Muslim, he said, "I asked Abu Dharr, 'Which is the best night prayer?' He said, 'I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he said, "Half of the night and whoever does less than that".'"
عَنْ أَبِي خَالِدٍ وَاسْمُهُ عِنْدِي مُهَاجِرٌ وَغَيْرُهُ يَقُولُ أَبُو مَخْلَدٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِأَبِي ذَرٍّ أَيُّ صَلَاةِ اللَّيْلِ أَفْضَلَ؟ فَقَالَ سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «نِصْفُ اللَّيْلِ وَقَلِيلٌ فَاعِلُهُ»
