Mu’aiqib reported the Prophet ﷺ as saying ; Do not remove pebbles while you are praying; if you do it out of sheer necessity, do it only once to smooth the pebbles. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 946)
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لَا تَمَسَحْ وَأَنْتَ تُصَلِّي فَإِنْ كُنْتَ لَا بُدَّ فَاعِلًا فَوَاحِدَةً تَسْوِيَةَ الْحَصَا
Mu’aiqib reported the Prophet ﷺ as saying ; Do not remove pebbles while you are praying; if you do it out of sheer necessity, do it only once to smooth the pebbles.
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ تَمْسَحْ وَأَنْتَ تُصَلِّي فَإِنْ كُنْتَ لاَ بُدَّ فَاعِلاً فَوَاحِدَةً تَسْوِيَةَ الْحَصَى
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said about the man who levels out pebbles and dirt where he prostrates, "If you must, then do it only once."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ فِي الرَّجُلِ يُسَوِّي الْحَصَا وَالتُّرَابَ حَيْثُ يَسْجُدُ قَالَ «إِنْ كُنْتَ لَا بُدَّ فَاعِلًا فَوَاحِدَةً»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not wipe over yourself while you are praying, but if you have to, then do it once." This is the ruling regarding wiping over the socks.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تَمْسَحْ وَأَنْتَ تُصَلِّي وَإِنْ كُنْتَ لَا بُدَّ فَاعِلًا فَوَاحِدَةً» تَسْوِيَةَ الْحَصَا
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said to him regarding wiping during prayer, "If you do it, then do it once."
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لَهُ فِي الْمَسْحِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ «إِنْ كُنْتَ فَاعِلًا فَوَاحِدَةً»
"لاَ تَمْسَحْ وَأَنْتَ تُصَلِّى، فَإِنْ كُنْتَ لاَبُدَّ فَاعِلًا فَوَاحِدَةً لِتَسْوِيَةِ الْحَصَا".
