[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to have his hands positioned as far as his ears when he prostrated.  

البيهقي:٢٦٩٢ – وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا أُسَيْدُ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ وَائِلِ بْنِ حُجْرٍ قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا سَجَدَ يَكُونُ يَدَاهُ حِذَاءَ أُذُنَيْهِ كَذَا  

رَوَاهُ جَمَاعَةٌ عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ
