[Machine] During the time of the Prophet ﷺ and Abu Bakr, we used to buy from the mothers of the children, but when Umar came, he prohibited us and we stopped.  

البيهقي:٢١٧٩١ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ عَبْدَانَ أنبأ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ وَعَارِمُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ قَالَا ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ

بِعْنَا أُمَّهَاتِ الْأَوْلَادِ عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَأَبِي بَكْرٍ ؓ فَلَمَّا كَانَ عُمَرُ ؓ نَهَانَا فَانْتَهَيْنَا  

رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ فِي السُّنَنِ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ

«بِعْنَا أُمَّهَاتِ الْأَوْلَادِ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَأَبِي بَكْرٍ فَلَمَّا كَانَ عُمَرُ نَهَانَا فَانْتَهَيْنَا»  

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ وَلَهُ شَاهِدٌ صَحِيحٌ على شرط مسلم وشاهده صحيح

ذِكْرُ الْبَيَانِ بِأَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ هُوَ الَّذِي نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ أُمَّهَاتِ الْأَوْلَادِ

«كُنَّا نَبِيعُ أُمَّهَاتِ الْأَوْلَادِ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَأَبِي بَكْرٍ فَلَمَّا كَانَ عُمَرُ نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِهِنَّ»
