TABARANI 12912:
from ʿAbdullāh b. al-Ḥārith —
[Machine] About Ayoub, Waasim, and Abd al-Hameed, the companion of al-Ziyadi, from Abdullah bin al-Harith, he said: Ibn Abbas delivered a sermon on a day of extreme cold. When the Mu'adhin said "hayya 'ala as-salah" (come to prayer), he ordered him to announce the prayer in everyone's places of dwelling (instead of going to the mosque). Some of them looked at each other, so he said, "It seems like you disapprove of this. However, this is better than my decision, and it is resolute."
