Both of my ears heard the Messenger of Allah saying this: He who claimed the fatherhood of anyone else besides his real father knowingly (committed a great sin) ;Paradise is forbidden to him. Abu Bakra asserted that he too heard it from the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him ).

لَمَّا ادُّعِيَ زِيَادٌ لَقِيتُ أَبَا بَكْرَةَ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ مَا هَذَا الَّذِي صَنَعْتُمْ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ سَعْدَ بْنَ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ يَقُولُ سَمِعَ أُذُنَاىَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ مَنِ ادَّعَى أَبًا فِي الإِسْلاَمِ غَيْرَ أَبِيهِ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ غَيْرُ أَبِيهِ فَالْجَنَّةُ عَلَيْهِ حَرَامٌ فَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرَةَ وَأَنَا سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ

[AI] My ears heard it and my heart retained it from Muhammad ﷺ that "Whoever claims a father other than his own father, while knowing that he is not his father, Paradise is forbidden to him." He said: I met Abu Bakra, and I told him about it, and he said: My ears also heard it and my heart retained it from Muhammad ﷺ.

سَمِعَتْهُ أُذُنَايَ وَوَعَاهُ قَلْبِي مِنْ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ أَنَّهُ «مَنِ ادَّعَى أَبًا غَيْرَ أَبِيهِ وَهُوَ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ غَيْرُ أَبِيهِ، فَالْجَنَّةُ عَلَيْهِ حَرَامٌ». قَالَ: فَلَقِيتُ أَبَا بَكْرَةَ، فَحَدَّثْتُهُ، فَقَالَ: وَأَنَا سَمِعَتْهُ أُذُنَايَ وَوَعَاهُ قَلْبِي مِنْ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ.

[Machine] I heard it with my own ears and my heart absorbed it from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that he said, "Whoever claims to be someone's father in Islam, knowing that he is not his father, Paradise is forbidden for him." I mentioned this to Abu Bakrah, and he said, "I also heard it with my own ears, and my heart absorbed it from the Prophet ﷺ ."

سَمِعَتْهُ أُذُنَايَ وَوَعَاهُ قَلْبِي مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ «مَنِ ادَّعَى أَبًا فِي الْإِسْلَامِ وَهُوَ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ غَيْرُ أَبِيهِ فَالْجَنَّةُ عَلَيْهِ حَرَامٌ» قَالَ فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِأَبِي بَكْرَةَ قَالَ وَأَنَا سَمِعَتْهُ أُذُنَايَ وَوَعَاهُ قَلْبِي مِنَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ

قَالَ سَمِعَتْهُ أُذُنَايَ وَوَعَاهُ قَلْبِي مِنْ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنَ انْتَمَى إِلَى غَيْرِ أَبِيهِ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ وَهُوَ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ غَيْرُ أَبِيهِ فَالْجَنَّةُ عَلَيْهِ حَرَامٌ قَالَ سَعْدٌ وَأَنَا سَمِعَتْهُ أُذُنَايَ وَوَعَاهُ قَلْبِي مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا يَرْوِيهِ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِهَذَا اللَّفْظِ إِلَّا أَبُو بَكْرَةَ وَسَعْدٌ وَلِأَبِي عُثْمَانَ عَنْ سَعْدٍ وَأَبِي بَكْرَةَ طُرُقٌ وَزَادَ خَالِدٌ فِي حَدِيثِهِ حَرْفًا لَيْسَ فِي حَدِيثِ عَاصِمٍ وَلَا فِي حَدِيثِ دَاوُدَ فَلِذَلِكَ ذَكَرْنَاهُ
