[Machine] Ibn Umar divorced his wife while she was in her menstrual period. Umar went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and informed him about it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered him to wait until she becomes pure again, then to reconcile with her, and then to count the divorce as the first time it happened.  

البيهقي:١٤٩٢٦أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي طَاهِرٍ الدَّقَّاقُ بِبَغْدَادَ نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلْمَانَ نا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ زُهَيْرِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَابِقٍ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ إِمْلَاءً مِنْ كِتَابِهِ نا شَيْبَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ فِرَاسٍ عَنْ عَامِرٍ قَالَ

طَلَّقَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ امْرَأَتَهُ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ وَاحِدَةً فَانْطَلَقَ عُمَرُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَخْبَرَهُ فَأَمَرَهُ إِذَا طَهُرَتْ أَنْ يُرَاجِعَهَا ثُمَّ يَسْتَقْبِلَ الطَّلَاقَ فِي عِدَّتِهَا ثُمَّ تَحْتَسِبُ بِالتَّطْلِيقَةِ الَّتِي طَلَّقَ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ
