شِهَابٍ يَقُولُ لَوْ هَلَكَ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَفَّانَ وَزَيْدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ ؓ فِي بَعْضِ الزَّمَانِ لَهَلَكَ عِلْمُ الْفَرَائِضِ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ جَاءَ عَلَى النَّاسِ زَمَانٌ وَمَا يُحْسِنُهُ غَيْرُهُمَا
[Machine] Ibn Shihab said, "If Uthman and Zaid were to perish in some time, the knowledge of inheritance would also perish. Indeed, a time has come upon people and no one knows it except for these two."
ابْنُ شِهَابٍ «لَوْ هَلَكَ عُثْمَانُ وَزَيْدٌ فِي بَعْضِ الزَّمَانِ لَهَلَكَ عِلْمُ الْفَرَائِضِ لَقَدْ أَتَى عَلَى النَّاسِ زَمَانٌ وَمَا يَعْلَمُهَا غَيْرُهُمَا»
" عن يوسفَ الماجشونِىِّ قَالَ: قالَ ابنُ شهابٍ: لو هَلَكَ عثمانُ وزيدُ ابنُ ثابتٍ في بعضِ الزمانِ لَهَلَكَ علمُ الفرائِضِ، لقدْ أَتَى عَلَى النَّاسِ زمانٌ وما يعلَمُهُ غيرُهُمَا".
