[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever keeps a dog, except a dog used for herding, will have two good deeds deducted from his reward each day."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنِ اقْتَنَى كَلْبًا إِلَّا كَلْبَ مَاشِيَةٍ نَقَصَ مِنْ أَجْرِهِ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ قِيرَاطَانِ

Malik related to me from Nafi from Abdullah ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever acquires a dog other than a sheepdog or hunting dog, will have two qirats deducted from the reward of his good actions every day."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنِ اقْتَنَى كَلْبًا إِلاَّ كَلْبًا ضَارِيًا أَوْ كَلْبَ مَاشِيَةٍ نَقَصَ مِنْ عَمَلِهِ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ قِيرَاطَانِ
[Machine] I saw the Prophet ﷺ bending the neck of his horse with his hand and saying, "Goodness is in the forelocks of horses until the Day of Resurrection." 12891 Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz told us, Abu Amr ibn Abi Ja'far told us, Al-Hasan ibn Sufyan told us, Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah told us, Wakii' told us, Sufyan mentioned it with a similar chain of narration except that he said with his finger and added (the reward and spoils of war).
رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَلْوِي نَاصِيَةَ فَرَسِهِ بِيَدِهِ وَيَقُولُ الْخَيْلُ مَعْقُودٌ فِي نَوَاصِيهَا الْخَيْرُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ 12891 أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو عَمْرِو بْنُ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا وَكِيعٌ ثنا سُفْيَانُ فَذَكَرَهُ بِإِسْنَادِهِ مِثْلَهُ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ بِأُصْبُعِهِ وَزَادَ الْأَجْرُ وَالْمَغْنَمُ
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Whoever acquires a dog, except for a hunting dog or a herding dog, will have his reward decreased by two Qiraats every day". Abu Abdullah Al-Hafiz informed us, he said: Abu Bakr ibn Ishaq narrated to us, he said: Ahmad ibn Salamah narrated to us, he said: Ishaq ibn Ibrahim reported to us from Waki' that he mentioned it in a similar manner, and he added, Salim said, "Abu Hurairah used to say, 'or a guarding dog, and he was the owner of a land."'
